We've had brisket across the US, and this was surprisingly the best we've had. To be honest, we were headed to Roadhouse for pizza, and they were closed. Our son said J's was recommended by his friends in Madison who went there. A little resistant to go, we went, and we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back. The rub on their brisket is out of this world!!! The service was also top-notch!!! I highly recommend it!!!

A large group went here after a pickleball tournament. Jen and her staff were able to accommodate all of us and provided exceptional service. The food was delicious with very generous portion sizes. Great selection of beers and other drink options. Definitely worth the drive. Loved this place!
Google shows them open on Sunday. Took a 2 hour ride to go here only to find out they are closed. Only open a couple days a week per their recording

Update: owner contacted me in short order and explained the issues with Google updating key information they supply. I will certainly take her at her word and look forward to revisiting the establishment when I am back in the area. Thank you, Jen, for reaching out. It makes all the difference!

Hubs and I love good BBQ. We’ve heard great things about this place so we took a drive today. It was simply WOW!!!!! Their selection of smoked meats is outstanding. I had pulled pork, hubs had brisket. Flavorful, perfectly smoked, and fresh. Sides we chose were Cole slaw, Mac n cheese, and beans. All were outstanding. This place has been in Ripon 10 years, how have we not been here?!?! Worth the drive from Oshkosh!!! As a bonus, Ripon is an adorable small town with a great selection of cute shops and artisan stores. Perfect spot for a day trip! Try J’s BBQ, you will be so glad you did!

Our most favorite place in ripon ? They all go above and beyond, are so funny, and so kind❤️? the food never disappoints, the entire family loves it! And eats it! My kids even eat everything here and they are some picky eaters!! We went to 3 of the other restaurants in town (the good ones) and none were serving dessert and one didn’t allow to go! So Js came through and jazzed up some of their dessert for us!!!! ? We love them so much
