Public House catered an amazing lunch for a birthday party for us! Chef Kristi was amazing to work with and made it so easy! Food was amazing, very affordable, loved by ages 2-70 and we even had leftovers. Highly recommend. Not our first catering experience and definitely not our last!

The servers were all so happy kind, helpful, and attentive with fantastic attitudes! We went when they were serving Valentine's specials. Two of us had scallops over cauliflower puree with broccolini, one had the tenderloin special, and our fourth guest had the chicken salad wrap (I failed to ask her how that was). My scallop special was delicious! My husband's steak was done to perfection and very tender.We had a table right by the door on a cold and windy night so when the door opened, a cold draft came in but there was some blower over the door to minimize it and we weren't miserable.The regular menu has interesting appetizers along with the usual apps, sandwiches, salads, and wraps; some really unique menu options and of course a full bar.Parking: This is an area with a little extra street parking, almost like a little parking lot.

Food was okay, nothing really special about it for what the prices were. Service was a 10/10, we had an amazing waiter! I hate to say how dusty it was inside but the fans were coated in a layer of dust. I suppose I just had higher expectations for the prices and atmosphere it was trying to give off.

Ripon has had an incredible growth of excellent, must-try restaurants over the past few years. Do NOT overlook The Public House. Best smash burgers I’ve ever had. But the menu has so much more. Something for everyone. Dinners to sandwiches to unbelievable salads. Great bar. Genuinely nice owners who are working every day to make something special. Everybody we have taken there have always become repeat customers. Word of caution: you have to check the specials posted on Facebook. You will be amazed at the variety of very special offerings created by a great chef. Don’t miss the desert specials. You owe this to yourselves.Ps: I have yet to try the Sunday Reggae Brunch. Looks unbelievable.Kid-friendliness: Families are welcome. Very happy and lively atmosphere, welcoming to everyone.
It's a restaurant in Wisconsin so we ordered cheese curds and they were not the best. The bartender asked us how they were and we said so-so and he said yeah that's how ours are. If you know they are so-so fond something better so people will rave about it.

We live an hour away and wanted to check out Dickens of a Christmas. The Public House was packed and it was a litle chaotic with all of the people, but all of the staff there patient and didn't even seem the slightest bit flustered and still managed to provide great service. We had a great experience and the food was great, too!

We arrived at about 12:45 ordered and got a drink.We didn't get our food until 2:15. That was after we saw people who arrived about the same time we did, get served and were leaving.The food was very good.Just a little disappointed with the service.
