In August I had a sort of panic attack and really needed something to eat. I went to the bathroom and had my friend call 911 for me because of how weird I felt. The staff were helpful with that, but what was amazing was that after I got back into the restaurant and was trying to get food in me and to feel better, the workers were very attentive (we were the only ones there, but still) and one guy even ran to the store for Gatorade and bananas for me! And they took care of our bill too. I was so impressed and thankful for all they did. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area. (I live in MN) 😊

The food here is great, not sure how else to put. So is the service. River Falls needs more than just another burger bar, and you get it here. They're using quality ingredients and making food that takes time to prepare and cook, and it shows in the results. Yes, they do run out of menu items sometimes, but I worked in the restaurant business for a while, and that just comes with the territory when you've got a small kitchen and you're cooking up quality food. You have to make sure you're ordering only many ingredients as you know you can sell so nothing goes bad. It's a delicate balance. But honestly, I've gone in wanting something they're out of, and then it motivates me to try something else, which ultimately is just as great as the item I wanted to order. Plus great beer selection.

I'm not sure if they're trying to be a restaurant, a bar, or both. Personally, I think the restaurant is where it's at and I hope they lean into that more because they're serving excellent food.

Decent hole-in-the-wall Irish pub with better than average service and interesting Irish pub fare. Two thumbs 👍

????I would have given this place a 5 star rating because I've had the food there and it's pretty good. But BEWARE the owner likes to scam his employees and thinks it's okay to not pay people for working there. It's sad to think that a guy who is spoken so highly of will close the doors to his restaurant because he "CAN'T AFFORD" it anymore only to reopen the doors a few days later and not tell all of his employees that worked for him. Instead he doesn't tell one of his main cooks that he's reopened and still has yet to pay her!!!!! ???

This guy is something else I tell you, the food may be good but the owner sucks! He has yet to pay my mom for working there! He still owes her $2,000 in unpaid wages!!! ���

Not sure if this was the norm or just a bad day. Couldn't have a boxty, or Irish stew. They couldn't take cash, they had to go to the grocery store to buy French fries. No paper towels in either bathroom, the fish I ordered was awful, as well as the fries. You could tell the fryer oil hasn't been changed in awhile. The bartender was really apologetic as it wasn't his fault, the employees were trying to make it work out, but they were dealt a bad hand.

Really good food and very neat interior. They do have a tendency to run out of a couple menu items which I understand. It isn't a big deal though since you can't really go wrong with any of the menu

The atmosphere and service were great! The food was good and I had never had a Boxty! Good replacement for the Shepard pie. Great addition to River Falls cuisine.
