The wine was very good. Very good variety of wine. I had a tasting in which you get 5 for 15. Which I didn't think was too bad. The service was terrible very unfriendly. They blew us off I am assuming because we are not regulars. We ordered a pizza and they gave it to someone else by accident. Instead of feeling bad, they were dismissive of us. The lady on the table who got our pizza apologized. But the workers seemed to ignore us. Nice place but if you want a friendly easygoing experience skip it and go to another winery. Gave it a two because the unfriendliness brought down our night. Then my husband went up to the counter to ask a question she ignored him and talked to others behind us. Very disappointing.

Anna and Irv are so amazing and the sweetest people you could ever meet. The wine is amazing and they have beer. The food is great doesn't matter if you have sweatpants or a suit they welcome everyone. Please come check them out and support them. Awesome and relaxing atmosphere.

My sister and I went here on Friday night and enjoyed happy hour! They are sooo nice, and the atmosphere was super relaxing and welcoming. I tried 3 of the red wines, and thought they were all surprisingly delicious. Great quality and hospitality. Thanks for having us!

Amazing owner and venue! From start to finish, you felt like you were reminiscing with an old friend over a fantastic glass of wine. They have wine for every occasion (I recommend either the Cheesehead White or the illusive 15yr old Zinfandel Port - you won't regret it!!). The atmosphere is wonderful! You come in and almost automatically unwind - the delicious wine is the cherry on top! I didn't have a chance to taste their food however looking at the menu, you won't be disappointed.

The Chateau St. Croix has such a great atmosphere, amazing wine selection and great food (I had the flatbread with sun dried tomatoes...so good)! If your man isn't into wine, they have a beer selection as well.

Wine choice is great. Slow service. If you want food order when getting beverage of choice. Otherwise you have to stand in line again. Which understanding this. However they need to figure out how to manage both food and wine. Have a station to purchase wine and bakery items to go vs. getting back in line to make a purchase to go.

Amazing!!! The brisket sandwich was delicious and the service and atmosphere were top tier! They had live music and demonstrations on the process of wine making. They even had a spot for people to try grape stomping. Definitely coming back again!

Spent an afternoon day date enjoying the wine, food( delicious pesto flatbread and cheese and meat platter). Played cribbage and just enjoyed sitting outside- excellent staff and ended up buying 3 bottles of wine since every one we tasted was so good- highly recommend!

Great winery with perfect ambiance. We make the trek from the Twin Cities because the atmosphere is casual but nice and the wine (the Marco V) is delicious! We bought a case last time we were there and we just ran out so we are overdue for another visit. We went for Octoberfest as well and it was lively and fun! We always take a stop at Taylor Falls as well! Worth the trip!

Went here for a special event - Improv show with the Local Theater players (Festival Theater). Not only were the beverage options fantastic, the atmosphere and the beauty of the surroundings took the venue to another level. The Improv show was a lot of fun - thank you for hosting it! Wish I lived in the area, this would be a great venue to visit more!
