Was in your place tonight. Our bartender Connie surved us for food and drinks. I'm 68 years old and have never been disrespected and treat so rude in my life. First after ignoring us when we first walked in and then when we ordered a drink she was not very pleasant and talking over us, very condescending. Some background info for your better understanding….our group had four adults, one 5 year old, and one 1 year old. We had been at the July 3rd festivities most of the day and were going to head home to Eagle River when we had the thought to get dinner at Knockers. We are full time locals, a couple of us born and raised in the Northwoods so we know a bit about the ebb and flow of summer staff and guests.

Gave two chances. Both times it was not busy & service was ridiculously substandard given the large staff numbers. Felt like I was in Bergen Town from Trolls. Nearly 80 degrees in dining area per thermostat, A/C not on. The sexist remarks from 1st visit were off-putting as well. Only saving grace was the pizza, regardless of questionable practices of charging people for things they aren't getting. Wouldn't recommend to anyone in all honesty.

The friendly waitstaff creates a nice atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a drink at the big bar while waiting. Visitors from Stevens Point praised the great pizza that left leftovers for later. The bar and restaurant provide a great spot to watch games while enjoying awesome pizza. The Thursday special, lasagna, was described as delicious and huge, served with tasty breadsticks. Despite slightly oily veggies, the overall experience left a strong desire to return on the next visit to town.
