Brought the fam here after a day of fishing. I ordered the chops… thin, dry and no flavor. Kids got kids burger dinners, meat tasted like soy. Wife got surf and turf, beef had no flavor and lobster was chewy. Great old fashioned’s tho. $160 bill, not worth it.
The steaks were fairly tasteless. The 16oz. porterhouse I got had a lot of fat on it and seemed like maybe a 1/3rd of it was edible because of it. Had I not gotten the mushrooms and onions on the side for an extra 7 dollars I would have definitely not eaten any of the steak. My wife’s 10oz. tenderloin was fairly tasteless as well but a decent chunk of meat. I got a piece of the turtle cheesecake afterwards which was very good. For $140 for two meals and two drinks and smelling like a fried pork chop when you walked out of there because of the lack of exhaust fans or whatever, I will not go back. Way overpriced and way over hyped up in my opinion. If this is what the food is always like with the number of positive reviews this place has I really have to wonder what kind of places the people saying how good the steaks are, are going to. Unbelievable.
So good. I didn't think the wait was worth it, but it really is.

We visited for the first time in 10 years because it was always 1-3/4hr wait and 4 deep at the bar. My buddy says you got to get there early so we got there 20 minutes before opening and there was about a dozen people in line. The food was absolutely amazing and a great value for the money. Eat a late breakfast and skip lunch. This is my plan from now on.

It's a fantastic restaurant. Have to either get there early or a little later for the second seating. We never mind waiting at the bar, the drinks (old fashion's) are awesome, and we alway meet new friends to talk to while we wait.

Visiting from Texas, after a day of fishing the lakes and not eating a lot, there isn't much that tastes quite as good as an old fashioned and a steak dinner.
Their wings are also amazing!
Turtle cheesecake was killer.

Waited 2 hours to be seated. We had heard nothing but good things about this place. I was not impressed by the food… it was good food, but not worth the wait. Overpriced beer and cocktails as well.
