We eat here every time we're in town! Love the salad bar and homemade soups! Best prime rib we've had anywhere! Lynne, Dee, and Jim are always on point and make it a great night. Prices are reasonable for a Northern WI supper club with cheaper options if you're on a budget.

We have ate there three time and all three times the food was subpar. We always like to give a restaurant several chances but the last time our food came out completely black on the bottom of our Salmon, burger and pork chops. When the waitress mentioned it to the hostess (one of the owners), her response was what is “what is wrong with burnt”. That dinner cost us over $200, which was the last straw. We will never go back.

The service was excellent, and the food was even better. I had the prime rib, and it was prepared perfectly. The soup and salad bar was beautiful, and everything was fresh. Last but not least, the bourbon old fashioneds were delicious! Hats of to you Prime!

High prices for Northwoods. $53 for 12 oz Prime rib. Poor quality. Taste like it was from the day prior and heated up. Used to be an excellent restaurant. Now limited menu. Do not recommend.

Awesome old timey atmosphere. Excellent bar. Jim is a stellar server who is also fun to talk with! Prime rib is great. Broasted chicken is too! Fabulous salad bar!!! The owner is such a classy lady who greets all her guests like they are her favorite people. Try the carrot cake for dessert - or take it home for later. Great place to just settle in at the bar for cocktails or do a full dinner at a table. Comfortable, low key, fun, great cocktails, great food. ,

We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years. Stopped in to show our guest a true supper club experience (a haystack, relish tray and a salad are part of the experience). What we discovered upon arrival is that the new management has done many upgrades to the property. Then, after being seated, and looking at the menu, we were shocked by the price of the smallest prime rib, an 8 oz cut, was an astounding $45!!! So, for 3 people, we were looking at a total bill of over $200 when you include drinks. Before we placed an order, a staff member came to inform us that they could not accept credit cards due to their phone or internet line being down, giving us the only option... to use cash. And, if we needed cash, we could go into the tiki bar and use the ATM there (for a small fee). We decided that dinner was not worth the inconvenience and left. So, I suppose we need to thank the staff member for warning us of the situation. But, suffice to say, sadly, we will never come back. Pub N Prime, you have priced yourself out of our choices for dinner in the Northwoods.

We have wanted to eat here every time we visit the area. We had a party of 10, so we called ahead a little over a week in advance. We were asked what time we wanted to come, we said 6:45, and they thanked us for giving them a heads up and took our name down. We arrived on time and when we went to check in, we were told by the hostess that they don’t take reservations, and the wait was about 3 hours. I asked how that’s possible when they had told us we had a reservation. The hostess blamed it on the bartender, said she probably took the call. We asked the hostess if there was anything she could do and she said no. Affirmatively. Zero remorse. The bartender who we had spoke to for the reservation remembered speaking to me but then said that they don’t take reservations and that it’s more or less just to get you on the list….except we weren’t on the list! You get put in the list once you get there (huh?). Zero logic. Here’s the thing… fine if you don’t take reservations, but don’t take my name down on the phone. Just say outright that you don’t take reservations, period. I would have never wrote this review if either lady had offered any type of empathy, and some type of apology. Nothing. Just looked at us, angry-faced like we were the crazies. Just be kind. Just say sorry. They could have said,“Im really sorry someone told you that, we sincerely appreciate your patience, we will add you to the list.” I get food service is overwhelmed and understaffed, but just simply say you don’t take reservations…would have made it very clear and simple.

Seems newly renovated, but we loved the funky MCM lounge chairs and the sunken bar! I want them. Decor aside, we waited an exorbitantly long time to get the hostess' attention. Once we cornered a server, we loved her and our food. True supper club menu with all the trimmings (gasp - salad bar!) Very fresh and delicious, carefully prepared.Wheelchair accessibility: There is quite a slope to reach the doors; you may have trouble if you're mobility challenged.

We've been going here for over 20 years and always had a great dining experience. The food was always good and the prices reasonable. Pub & Prime has changed hands in the last few years, and with new ownership, like many restaurants, the quality has gone downhill. The food is still good, but not great. What get me is the huge increase of prices. I get it that meat and etc... has increased, but not as much as Pub & Prime charges. Filets for $50.00 $70.00? We watched several diners open up the menu and either they left or ordered a less expensive meal like chicken. It's not our go-to steak/prime rib place anymore. I have to say the service is still excellent!

Arrived at 5:20 and told there would be a 45 min wait. Headed out to the tiki bar where we had hope to order cocktails and appetizers. Waited at least 20 mins at the bar and didn’t even get a look from the bartender. Horrible service out there. Went inside and had cocktails as we continued to wait for our table. Probably about 1:15 total wait before we were sat. The waiter took our order fairly quick and we enjoyed the salad bar. But waited well over an hour for our food. And we sat with empty drinks for at least 20 mins until we asked to see our waiter. Total time we were there 3 hours and 40 mins. We almost left as the dinner took so long to get. Food was pretty good once we got it.

We were at Pub' N Prime in Saint Germain Wi to celebrate our 56th Wedding Anniversary. I had an 8oz Prime Rib for $45, the worst Prime Rib I've ever had! The waitress brought out a piece of Prime Rib with huge hunks of fat everywhere, it was disgusting! I'm not sure how anyone could possible take that out of the kitchen and serve it to anyone! I called the waitress over, I really didn't have to say anything, she took the plate away and came back with another piece of Prime Rib! It was awful and not tasty at all! For $45 I expect great Prime Rib! 56th. Wedding Anniversary and they didn't even offer us a small dessert. After dinner I asked to speak to management. Management came over and I told her all that happened and she told me they may have had two complaints ever. I stated the ball was in her court, she picked up our tab and charged us for the salad bar ($20). If I would have known I would have eaten a lot more from the salad bar! Service at best fare, ambiance very pretty. Pretty doesn't cut it for a $45 Prime Rib dinner. If you want really fantastic Prime Rib go to: Norwood Pines, Minocqua Wi
