"You can't judge a book by its cover" certainly applies here. With the overgrown landscaping, rotting exterior wood and peeling paint, I wasn't sure if the business wasn't closed permanently. If it wasn't for the 2 cars in the lot, I'd have driven on.Service was speedy. Food came right out. Plate looked plain. No garnish. Tasted delicious. Meat was tender, moist and very flavorful. Beans had that delicious creaminess I love. I drive past here all the time going to Lake Geneva. I'll definitely stop in again. Don't be put of by the exterior, the food is delicious.

I stopped eating here years ago but the new owners have changed this place around. The quality and value of the food is fantastic. Definitely worth trying again if you were not a fan in the past. Everything is better. The owner are wonderful and the food doesn't disappoint. Give them another chance if you haven't been here in a while.

1st time customers, wanted some Authentic food for dinner. Placed a to go order (in person) & the server who took my order was really friendly. Service was quick about 10min! Super fast for just stopping in & ordering. We had The Cubana Dinner & the tamales dinner. Good portions, the Cubana was so big that my hubby couldn't even finish the whole thing! Lol & got 2 bottled sodas (they gave us chips/salsa for free) since we spent $37, well actually it was 37 & change & the server who I believe was the owner/manager only charged 37 even. We definitely will be back! Great food, great service & overall friendly atmosphere! ?

New management and people here are awesome! Very nice and friendly! Their food are fantastic! Steak tacos are so tasty and cooked perfectly. Shrimp fajitas were mouth-watering and so delicious. The dessert, OH THE DESSERT! The first time we tried them, we fell in love. So we had Sopaipillas again. It's fried tortillas with cinnamon sugar, icecream and whipped cream. This dessert is to die for. This place is our new favorite spot now. Good job to everyone here!

Outstanding dinner! We moved To the area 4 years ago but have never tried la Cabana until last night. My husband is a food snob, so if he says it's outstanding you can believe it is! We can't wait to go back and sit in their outdoor seating area this summer. Be sure to give this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed. Guacamole was the best we ever had, Chile Renos fabulous, the Alambres dinner special was the best flavored dish we've had a long time. Yummy!
