I love this place! From their ice cream to helping with desserts for dinner events throughout the year, they are soo helpful on top of delicious desserts!

This place was awesome!! My husband (from Veracruz) and I are pretty picky when it comes to authentic Mexican food but this place was probably in our top 3 restaurants / cafe outside of Mexico. Handmade tortillas were being made in the kitchen the gorditas we had were delicious and the empanadas de piña were outstanding. I usually shy away from fruit filled desserts as most are just most sugar but then the owner/cook told me she hand makes the fillings from seasonal fruits I hand to try it. The empanadas are HUGE!! Like twice the size of normal empanadas and very reasonably priced! (Everything was). Like others have said- super friendly staff, beautiful views and town in general we live about 2.5 hours away but would seriously consider planning a trip around stopping here!! Simply outstanding!!

We stopped in for ice cream. But we left with our ice cream and a take out of carne en su jugo ( beef and bean soup with bacon and ham.) We're not from the area and we were just doing some sightseeing and saw that they had ice cream. We left with the soup and had it later at home. The soup was very good and we would recommend it. Another plus was the staff was very friendly. So if we're ever in the area we will keep this place in mind.

Everything on the menu is so good! You are greeted with the owner she is so kind! Such a welcoming environment kid friendly! And my favorite things on the menu is cucumber lime agua fresca and tamales :)

We attended a 50th birthday party here. The accommodations were perfect for our group size of maybe 35 people. They had delicious nachos grande, walking tacos, and tamales available for our group. I also had one of their fruit drinks. I can't recall the flavor name, but it was delightful.The birthday cake was the highlight! Tres Leches. And, wow, was it amazing! I highly recommend this cake!The employees were amazing. They were efficient in taking orders and delivering the food. They were kind and helpful.And, as always important in a restaurant - the bathroom was perfectly clean.
