I spent the day at Devil's Lake and was feeling pizza on my way home (Madison). I hit up Google and that's how I ended up at On the Rox. Damn this was fantastic. They were busy, but I have a feeling they often are. There was plenty of seating inside, but they had a lot of to-go orders. Also, one of the ovens was down. I had a 50 minute wait but that was no problem at all and it's not common, only due to the oven situation. The staff was very polite and made sure I understood the wait time. On the Rox is inside a very old stone building with a great old timey decor. The pizza was EXCELLENT, as described in other reviews. I highly recommend and will be taking family and friends there in the future.

Cannot comment on the food because we decided to leave before we were served. We sat outside for 30 minutes after asking at the bar if we could seat ourselves and/or needed to order there. We were told someone would be out to take our order but nobody ever came - we were one of four groups seated outside and I never saw wait staff. No wait for a table but I heard others saying there were only two people working - my guess is that there were over 50 patrons there at this time.
This place is pretty great gem. The patio on a nice day off the Main Street with low traffic was a great place to hang and eat the great pub style pizza.

I love this place I couldn't decide on which pizza I want and they were both complicated options with losts of substitutions so they made me a half and half pizza with both options they were both amazing and they accommodated me with a smile I would highly recommend it to everyone definitely worth the drive if ur far away. Great costumer service.

My mom and I swung in for an early dinner. Nachos were fantastic. We both ordered our own pizzas and they hit the spot. The salsa is better than you’ll find around here. They offer it in large containers to go too.
