Delicious baked goods and kind cashiers. The atmosphere was different from what I would expect at a bakery.

Beautiful, family-run, wholesome, and friendly. Offers a wide variety of delicious pastries and beverages, including. gluten-free options. The gluten free cakes are the best we've found around Dane and neighboring counties. Prices are quite reasonable. This is our new favorite bakery and coffee shop.

Dietary restrictions: They have a good gluten-free selection!

A true, from scratch bakery and coffee shop! The bars are delicious, the cinnamon rolls are out of this world and I just ordered a blueberry bagel (for the first time) and my life has changed for the better! I’ve enjoyed becoming a patron of this establishment & I get a kick out of watching their children assist with customers. A favorite place for me and my family!

The mixing bowl is a cute little bakery! With delicious goodies.
Yes it is a little awkward when your eating your goodies, and their whole family is eating their breakfast at the next table, but I got over it. Customer service was ok, they mostly have their kids and teens doing the serving, so it's not perfect, but nobody is perfect, it's a learning experience. Would recommend

You can get a 44oz coconut iced mocha, which was very delicious.
However, the fable themed atmosphere left something to be desired.

Vegetarian options: Offered two non dairy alternatives for iced coffee

Stopped here for a quick coffee on our way to Cave of the Mounds. The drive-thru was a bonus (especially because we had two young kids in the car and didn’t want to get them out). The person who took our order was very polite and patient with us. We didn’t see a menu and didn’t know what different types of coffee drinks they served. But they have drip coffee, lattes , americanos, etc! We ordered two americanos and they tasted delicious. We normally go to Coffee Bean Connection or Nautical Coffee and it was comparable taste wise. Price was less compared to a Starbucks. They also have baked goods, we did not get any at this visit. But based on the pictures from google, they look delicious! There are several google reviews that comment on the religious atmosphere. It is advertised out front as a religious cafe! Didn’t bother us, we went there for the coffee and were pleasantly surprised!

This is a family run bakery. The offerings change if you don’t find what you are looking for, they will accommodate. There are religious items for purchase. If that is something that bothers you, you either have to put your personal opinions aside and enjoy the baked goods OR do not go there and keep negative comments off reviews.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free offerings as well.

Parking: Corner lot, you don’t get ‘stuck’ trying to get out.

Under baked, overly rich baked goods. Ordered 2 items and got very sick after only one or two bites. Had to throw the baked goods out.
Probably the worst baked goods we’ve ever eaten

Calling this place “LGTBQ” friendly is a joke. Very uncomfortable vibe.

I’ll always prefer to give my money to family run establishments, and this is no different. Delicious and wallet friendly coffee drinks and a wonderful variety of pastries. I got the homemade blackberry donut and it was delicious! The only complaint I’d have is that I’m a little overwhelmed by visible clutter and there is a fair amount. Though we did find gifts for Easter for our kids so it was a win win!
