I’ll always prefer to give my money to family run establishments, and this is no different. Delicious and wallet friendly coffee drinks and a wonderful variety of pastries. I got the homemade blackberry donut and it was delicious! The only complaint I’d have is that I’m a little overwhelmed by visible clutter and there is a fair amount. Though we did find gifts for Easter for our kids so it was a win win!

Curtis, Vickie, and the kids have such a well-run bakery here! They recognize their regulars and practically know your order ahead of time. It's always a joy to stop in for my favorite coffee & sweet breakfast treats, with the occasional grocery pickup. Plus, they're very supportive of their local small businesses and help out wherever they're able to! <3

Delicious homemade Danish for like $2 - what's not to love? Eclectic atmosphere but I dig it. Great local eatery in a small town. Didn't use the drive thru but they have one

Walked in today because I was in town and heard they offered gluten friendly options. The snide 10 year old who was “helping” me was clearly laughing at me (I was wearing a mask, not trying to get sick before Christmas gatherings) I asked him straight up, what are you laughing at and he just laughed harder. With all of the political and religious signage everywhere I picked up that I was being made fun of. Hard pass, and for crying out loud, somebody get those kids/ worker bees into a school.

Do not judge this place by it's cover or interior. They did say on their board about religious items.. if you are there for bake goods, this is THE place! The Mixing Bowl Bakery has amazing cinnamon buns and quiches: light and fluffy. The black coffee we had was fresh and smooth. I have no idea how young our server was, but she was patient and helpful.

First, the Spanish book "Liberalism is a Sin" was written in 1884. Since that time, it has been printed in several languages. This book is not written for the purpose of insulting Liberals. Rather, it is a historical examination of the effects of Liberalism on law and morality taking place in Spain at the time of its writing. It would be a worthwhile historical read for anyone whether they are politically Liberal or Conservative.Second, regarding the comments related to in-your-face attitudes perceived by some of the customers: Keeping an open mind, you have not noticed the inundation of in-your-face social agendas also being forced on Conservatives at every turn, such as business, by manufactures of all types of products and service providers? What ever happened to putting yourself in another's shoes? Seeing ALL sides, accepting other's differences and not just yours?Yes, I get it, it's a business and you think agendas should not be pushed in that setting and it's your choice not to patronize them. True. What's next, the boycotting of everyone who thinks differently than you? Once we begin picking apart our uniqueness, we may as well depart from the human race.

This was a wonderful place to sit and have a cup of coffee. It's family owned and even the children were helping serve. If you want a fun and unusual experience you will enjoy this place. It is small with only a few tables so you would need to keep that in mind.

Agree 100% with Kris J’s review - weirdly political and religious little cafe. Not terribly clean and the sweets were sweet but not terrible flavorful. We won’t be back.

Unfriendly atmosphere. Pastry was dry. You're immediately punched in the face with their political and religious beliefs as you approach counter to pay. I do not recommend it. ?

My good friend and I stopped in after a visitation and it was wonderful. We had iced berry donuts and she had a hot vanilla latte; I had an iced mocha. Everything was SO yummy and the family running it were so nice! I plan to go there again, hopefully soon!

Was not expecting the heavy religious and political propaganda. The bakery was impressive but my muffin was dry and over oiled and my latte was acceptable, but very sweet. I don't think I'd return just because of the cult-like vibe inside.

Coffee was undrinkable. Too sweet & uneven blend of syrup/milk/espresso, had to toss it after a few sips. Customer service was good, the child behind the counter (14 years old? Maybe younger) was very friendly. However, the vibe was creepy and unnerving. It looks and feels dark and dingy on the inside. I kind of like the copious Catholic idolatry/decor. It's excessive, but it I feel it makes the bakery unique. But there's also a bookshelf at the register with an in-your-face display that's full of anti-vaxx, super conservative, conspiracy books. 'Liberalism is a Sin' for example. I was going to buy a pastry but did not so I can't comment on the taste or quality. I was too creeped out by the general vibe I wanted to get my coffee and get out. It's hard to describe. There were adults sitting nearby with children, but something was just...off. Not a place to sit and enjoy your food or sup-par coffee in a styrofoam cup. I wanted to support a local business, but I would never spend my money here again.

Doughnut was not good but the cookie was alright. Very strange experience/atmosphere here.
