Had pasta primavera and Bolognese pasta. Both dishes were very good. Especially like the Bada bing martini - yumm

Food and service were excellent. We had the Parmesan wings as an appetizer. The sauce was excellent. Had the cannelloni and the Italian spinach salad. Both were also very good.

We love Messina’s! Every visit is always a positive experience. The shrimp scampi is delicious. They had a pretzel crusted fish as a special that a few from our group tried and it was amazing. It’s nice that they take reservations as well. We’ve gone with a large group many times and they have this nice little private room off to the side that we sit in. The tiramisu was super good as well. It’s a very nice atmosphere too. All of the food never disappoints. Friendly and attentive staff always!

Pizza was ok kid said shrimp Alfredo was good the ravioli tasted water down with no flavors and not very kid friendly

I had the veal parmesan and it was good but they don't give you much sauce so I asked for more. Then it was ok

Stopped in on a Saturday night for dinner with friends. Server was exceedingly pleasant and helpful with suggestions on what to order. I ordered the baked mostaccoli. It was a very nice size portion but the sauce was runny and did not have much flavor. My friends had the eggplant parmey and the spaghetti Bolognese - again nice size portions. They indicated that they enjoyed their dinners so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

I decided to stay in tonight and just wanted something different for dinner. We'll messinas was not it. My Alfredo was loaded with butter and hardly no sauce. Sauce tastes like its from a can. My client got the lasagna and she said the soup was the best part. The serving size was ridiculous for almost $21. These 2 meals were $65. I will stick with michealanos from now on.

I highly recommend this Italian restaurant, however some items are pricey.

As a long time customer of Messina's, Restaurant, I volunteered to help a club out to find a nice restaurant in Saukville for dinner and a meeting place for a group of ten adult women. I successfully secured the private room for the club with the owner and even decided to join the group for dinner that evening as well. Apparently that evening did not go exactly as planned as I was told that a couple of people chose to come an hour earlier and dine. A conversation with the individuals took place that seemed to start the evening out on a negative path with the owner. Right before dinner I went to talk to him. Not knowing about his earlier conversation, he chose to take his frustration out on me and could be heard by the entire group of women seated in the private room. He even commented that he wanted to throw everyone out as he was so upset. Later that evening some club members commented that his behavior was rude and uncalled for. That was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I have ever had in my life.

We got takeout on Mother's day. The pizza and eggplant parm. Was great.

As has been reviewed here in the past, great food and hard-working service, way above average. The only negative is the owner/manager who apparently doesn't understand polite Midwest culture or just dislikes customers. I'm sure some will say oh, you've got to get to know him. Nope.

My husband and I were here years ago and it was great. We decided for mothers day we would treat ourselves, it didnt work out to stop in, so we wanted to still do take out of 1 pizza and 1 salad. When my husband called, shortly after they opened, we were told that they were too busy to call back later. So, unfortunately, we will not be trying messinas again because that is unacceptable to not even attempt to take our take out order.
