Wonderful experience. I took my boyfriend here and he actually really enjoyed it. The tea list was extensive. Make a reservation here for sure as they are busy! Delicious menu. We would recommend this to anyone and will back again! Service was fantastic.
Can’t review! Looks great from outside. Their website says open! Sign on the door says closed for vacation. Drove 2 1/2 hours to celebrate my wife’s birthday. And they’re closed. We will call ahead next time .

A real gem in the heart of Wisconsin. I've never had anything like it. Their tea selection is incredible and the food is even better. Cannot recommend Johanna May's enough.

Formal tea was a Wonderful experience. We were more than full after the 4 course service. A lovely unrushed time conversing & sharing fine tea & joy together served with a genuine smile.

What a cute place I found today. A hidden gem. I love having tea parties with my grand daughter. She was off school today, so we found Johanna Mays and had some fun. Great service!! Cannot wait to go back.

I'd been here once before with a friend/mentor for a personal tea service (and lunch) and wanted to bring my mother-in-law. Of course, I happened to choose the day of their special Christmas sampling (announced only by email)! They had at least 15 different teas to try with different treats to cleanse the pallette in between. A FABULOUS selection of teas to choose from, and the quaint setting is the perfect match for an afternoon tea.

Was so surprised to find somewhere that does a formal tea meal in Wausau, WI of all places. Made a mother-daughter date of it. Three of us loved all the teas we tried. The food was all so beautiful and delicious. They have such a large selection of teas (and I am not really a tea drinker) but I LOVED the Raspberry Vanilla Black Tea. I can’t wait to go back to try more varieties!
