I was told to try day break for a good fish fry by a friend as i have struggled to find a good fish fry that reminds me of home with good fresh portions of perch walleye,and white fish. Most places here serve cod which I'm not crazy about. Iv come to the conclusion after trying 7 spots in wausau that central wisconsin doesn't have the resources for the fry I'm used to back in Michigan. The people here were wonderful, that goes for the service as well as the guests inside promoting a nice atmosphere. ?

If you’re looking for a superb Breakfast & Lunch in the Wausau Weston area Day Break is your place!! Their Benne And The Bacon is to die for also Their Chicken sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had!! Not to mention a phenomenal fish fry!

Ran out of the brand of beer that I was drinking. Which I don't like. On the bright side. Seemed like a fun crowd,many female patrons . Wish I would have been there sooner. The band was great ?
