GET THE ELK BURGER! Possibly my favorite spot in Wausau, they offer a somewhat upscale menu and specials while keeping fair prices, food is great. Servers and staff are very nice and it feels like they want you to be there and help you. Can’t wait to go back again (for the 10th time 😉)

Underrated gem of a restaurant! We were just passing through town and I'm so glad we stopped here by random chance. The food was top-notch and our waitress was extremely kind. Get the house mac and cheese or Cajun shrimp pasta, you won't regret it!

Sconni's has been kind of a staple when I want to dine out. The chef's menu specials are usually divine, the tap list is nicely varied with many different options to pair with your pallet, the staff is great, and the atmosphere is very relaxed, even on busy nights. I love coming here.

I had an alright lunch at Sconni’s for a business lunch. We sat on the patio outside, and maybe because of that our service was fairly slow on a pretty empty afternoon. The aesthetic is a sport - outdoors - Northwoods vibe, which isn’t horrible but seems a little forced when what’s offered is pretty standard “gastropub” fair. The front area has a huge selection of pool tables, games, dart boards, and a stage, so I’m not sure when they use that but it was empty when we were there. The classic burger was fine and the Sconni melt was pretty ok, with a small side of fries, but I don’t necessarily feel a draw to come back here, especially with the price. $15 for a melt on what tasted like store bought bread and a small pile of fries is a little much for me.

We had burgers and fries and they were pretty good. I was disappointed, however, because this is the second time in a row that I went there because of items that the website said they had and they did not. Last month I went there wishing to try the seasonal cocktails that were on the website and I was told that they are not available yet. Last night I went there intending to order the seasonal chef special that I had just seen on the website yesterday and I was told they do not have that anymore and are starting a new one tomorrow. So, my wish and recommendation would be that you keep your website up to date. It did take pretty long to get waited on also. Thank you!

Went here for a family get together/fish fry. Appreciated the private room. Service and food were great! Our waitress was attentive. We had 13 people ranging from toddler to age 70. There was something for everyone. Couldn’t have been more perfect.

I remember loving coming to Sconni's. It's probably been a year or two since I've been. My sister and I went today and it was like a ghost town, which wasn't a bad thing. Not many people there so we thought we'd be in and out. Wrong. There were only a few other people there besides us and the time it took for our food was crazy. We thought about leaving but decided to wait it out. Food was decent but not as I remember it being. Disappointing visit sadly

The interior decor is very cozy with a nice forest theme and a cabin feel with low lighting. My niece and nephew enjoyed it! My family and I enjoyed a very delicious meal. We grabbed a few appetizers. The pretzel appetizer was large enough to split between 4 people and the fries were very flavorful. We even enjoyed the cocktails and beer. I would highly recommend this place for the good atmosphere, the service and the food/drinks. They were also kid friendly and had good food options.
