What a GEM!
Eating alone as on a break caring for a family member, I got a break.
First time in Shawano, my fiancé's town where she grew up.
She's not with me but directed me to come here.
Did not disappoint. Old theater retrofitted into brewery and restaurant. Beautiful decor!
When I sat down, a gentleman kneeled by my table (forgot your name!) and introduced himself as the owner. Very nice dude.
Ordered burger and fries, service and food were exceptional.
My waitstaff Gracie S. Did an outstanding job making me comfortable and everything about my order was right.
Couldn't recommend this place more. Kinda a drive from Waterford, but will be here again on future visits!

This place was a favorite of my family.. we have a large family or 9.. we come at least once every few months.. but this evening went really bad.. we were not allowed to split the bill an it actually was such a nightmare trying to split it all our individual ways.. had to go to banks an get cash.. then after we eat we like to hang out an talk.. this is nothing new we do here.. our bill was $200 an we all gave her a $50 tip.. the place wasn’t busy.. they were plenty of tables available to coming guests.. an the waitress tells us we have to move.. up stairs.. we are not happy.. an won’t be coming here anymore for our family hangouts.. everyone was shocked that we were pushed out.. so unhappy with how she acted! An the no individual pay..

We Choose SB for a holiday get together with family but service seemed putout , it was a week day afternoon and restaurant was empty . Waitress was rude to begin , brought out all appetizers plus main entrees together, creating chaos at table . Then blamed the chef. Turns out place has no holiday spirit!

It's a little bit more expensive than some places, but it's not the most expensive. The food is amazing. This place has some of the best brews in Wisconsin. The atmosphere is totally awesome. It has its own Park, live music, theater house, its own brewery, electric car friendly, All around down to earth owner who makes sure everybody is happy and works shoulder to shoulder with his employees. I overheard him talking to someone about loving McMenamins! Kina wants to build his business to be like them. I'm sure there's better ways to say that, but I have no idea right? Offhand. As a person who has lived in Oregon for 2 years and been to these restaurants. McMenamins and various other places hands down buddy, You have blown them out of the water. First of all, your business model is way better!! "Congratulations!!" And the Midwest food is literally the best in the country. I have eaten and drank no better than right here. We all know how to cook. The West Coast can't even make donuts right? (Voodoo donuts downtown Portland was the closest I can get to Midwest quality, the rest of the bakeries for some reason made their donuts really dry) They don't even know about cherry rosebuds (it's like an apple fritter) of which you can get at festival.
3 things from the West Coast I wish were here.
1. Peanut butter pickle Burger from killer Burger
2. Truffle oil fries, fry them up dump in bowl mix truffle oil some salt.
3. Simple street tacos carne asada, Cilantro, key limes. With a side Pico de gallo, Black bean and roasted corn mixture, avocado, red&green salsa.
Bonus: tamales They sell for about $2.50 a piece at (Alegria Mexicana, Wisconsin Ave.) Handmade from scratch.
Parking: Parking on street and both sides of the building, a back parking lot and a parking lot across the street
Kid-friendliness: The park offers a fire pit, live music stage for small performances, metal drums, a splash pad, and various other things. I haven't looked too close at it but very kid-friendly and family friendly
