We absolutely loved our lunch here. They were very accommodating swapping out buns for me on a sandwich. Food was outstanding. My husband got the Reuben and said it was one of the best he's ever had.
Had dinner here last night. Would recommend that you don’t sit near the back door. It was freezing. Waitress brought me the wrong beer, which got corrected. Ordered a burger rare and it came medium well.In response - I did asked to be moved and was told it was not possible. I didn’t let the server know my burger was overcooked. I could have but didn’t want to wait while it was being remade.

Great place to host a gathering! We had a group of 40 or so and the service, food, and of course the beer were amazing! If you are looking for a place for a group to get together in Shawano, I highly recommend Stubborn Brothers.

Beer tasted great, and the space was cool. Lackluster service and the food was legit inedibleIf you must know. We got the pretzel which was still cold (clearly cooked from frozen) and wet on the bottom, dramatically undersalted and roux completely failed for the cheese sauce which was grainy and had weird flavor - I make pretzels at home and it’s super easy, so I never appreciate when places take the frozen route for this item. But you can at least try a little harder to make it taste passable from frozen. The pretzel came out in less than 5 minutes, and the Caesar came out in about 20. Please don’t continue to use leaf lettuce for the Caesar, the greens were sopping with dressing that tasted direct from US foods (additive-heavy). The “crispy chicken” was one or two chicken nuggets sliced into 7 tiny pieces. There were 3 croutons the size of peas. The menu also mentioned “wild rice” as an ingredient. This was nowhere to be found. $14 for what we were served is unacceptable, lots of places in the twin cities have excellent Caesars for 10 bucks

The selection of brews is great. I found the flight I choose a great selection and was unable to pick just one as my favorite.

We've only had a few of the appetizers which were good, but never have tried entrees as we just cannot get ourselves to justify the price for the smaller portions when viewing the plates of surrounding patrons. I really wish they would cater more to the beer, but I do understand that the food is where the money is made. They definitely don't prioritize those of us that just stop in for a couple of beers. We've been here several times and I believe they have been out of at least a couple of their beer options every time. Nothing has been enough to drive us away. If we're in the area for something else we will likely continue to stop in because the beer is indeed unique and enjoyable.

Food is fantastic. Expect to a pay a little more for ot 15-17$ for burger and fries. The beer is fantastic, I go to many breweries throughout the state, in fact I've been to over 50, this one has the best beer out of all them. The service however is pretty terrible, it gets busy on the weekends and they don't have enough staff to keep up. We waited over 20 minutes for a drink after being seated. Had we not been here before, we probably would have left if we didn't know how good it was...

Love this place. Must stop in Shawano. Great beer and they did a great makeover of the old
My 1st time there. I was impressed how cool the atmosphere is there. It is an old theater transformed into a craft beer/restaurant/bar. A great place to meet your friends and enjoy a few craft beers and eat too. I thought the Sweet Peel beer was the best lighter beer. Much better than Door County craft beers. I'm happy it's also close to home!! Food was great too. I will definately be back soon.
This place is stunning! Beautiful woodwork. The food was great, and the beers were good. It reminded me of an old western bar back in the 1800s. Service was great as well. A very well run establishment.
