I had a take out lunch from Ella’s and it was a wonderful experience. The building is tucked in off of 8th Street in downtown Sheboygan, WI.
Ella’s is a family run deli, that makes homemade soups, salads, subs and sandwiches. I had a Roast Beef sub with the works and it was delish. My wife had egg salad and she said it was fantastic. We also had carrot cake which was wonderful as well. You can dine in, take-out or have it delivered to your home or business. I highly recommend the jem in downtown Sheboygan, WI.

It took over 20 minutes to get a hot Reuben that was 2-2.5 pieces of corned beef and enough sauerkraut for numerous Reubens. Everything else was really good. I do NOT recommend the Reuben.

The food is very good, but service is hit or miss. Unfortunately my last trip has soured mine and my bf’s experience and pushed us to Jersey Mike’s instead. There is a younger crowd that works there that is great, but if the older gentleman is at the counter I won’t even come in. On my last trip in, he was rude and didn’t seem like he wanted us in there. Rushing us, rudely making verbal corrections to how I was ordering…when it came time to pay the chip in my card wouldn’t work for some reason..(never had that issue before or since….) he had to enter the card number by hand, and….*in the middle of a busy restaurant!!!* he read out the full card number & expiration date. He was about to say the security code but luckily someone else working stopped him & said it wasn’t needed. Luckily I don’t think anyone was paying enough attention…but not cool either way.
Ella’s catered our wedding at Kings Park pavilion! They were amazing with everything. Walt, Norma Jean and the rest of the staff were incredible! We live about 200 miles away from Ella’s, Walt and the staff took care of every need for us. The communication was phenomenal and very reassuring to us. They made our special day go smoothly and with no worries! We speak very highly of them to everyone! The food and desserts were delicious and remarkable! Thank you all at Ella’s!

Even tho I was early, the fantastic staff opened the door and welcomed me with open arms! I order3d 2 of their "boxed lunches" ( you can costom design your sandwiches..Several nice choices to be sure!) and was very happy with not only the cleanliness of the food prep area, but with the genuine friendliness of the people I spoke with! The presentation of the lunches was spot on and even though I don't live here full time, I can see me utilizing Ella's often!

Loved this cute hole in the wall sandwich shop! We have the turkey sub and split, was the perfect amount for 2 people. Delicious and loved the Ella’s sauce. We will definitely be back.
