Delicious food & wine. I had the gnocchi and it was amazing. Our waiter, Joey was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. I loved that he spent time interacting with us even though the restaurant seemed busy!
We stopped here twice for lunch while visiting Sheboygan. Both times the food and service were wonderful. First time we had the Rigatoni and a Panini sandwich. Second time we had the Arancini di Riso and the Margherita Classico pizza since they were highly recommended. The reviews were spot on. Both were exceptional. It will be our must go to place when we come back to area. Just a side note, it gets busy during lunch time, get there early. Also look for free parking in the back.
I was SO excited to try this place and was so bummed by my experience. I called for take out and was told it’d be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived in exactly that time and were directed to the bar area to wait for our order. It took 10 minutes before we were acknowledged by the bar staff despite there being a handful of servers lingering nearby. We opened the pizza once we got to the car and it was completely cold. The pizza itself was so underwhelming. We got the classic Margharita and it was completely tasteless.
Great service and food. There can be a line which is indicative of a good place to eat. Their wine selection is complete. We split a salad and pizza between us and took some home. Highly recommended.
Absolutely outstanding Italian food. Authentic and delicious
Waited 30 mins to be seated .. that is ok .. can’t be helped.. after we were seated they forgot about us . We did get water and even told the water girl no one was helping us . She then avoided us .. after 45 mins sitting at table the hostess asked us if we have been waited on .. NO . In about 5 mins we then had a waitress who said she was unaware of us .. pizza was not up to their usual standard. Brought home leftovers and threw away . This place is usually top notch . Last night I give a failing grade of F.. service and food .. somebody is sleeping at the wheel .
I was just there this weekend with my father while in town for the vintage weekend at Road America. We came back because of how good it was 15 years ago (the last time we were there) and it was still absolutely wonderful. Excellent service, so polite and friendly! You can really see how invested everyone there is in making a great experience for their customers. Of course, the food is still to die for. We were there Saturday evening, my father had the special and I had the Bufalina Bianca. Neither of us had leftovers. 10/10 would recommend. If you're ever anywhere near Sheboygan you owe it to yourself to stop in. No reservations for parties of 1 or 2 either which was really nice for us. Otherwise call ahead, they're quite popular!
This pizza was delicious!! Everything we had here was great--the bread, pizza, and calamari. If we are ever in town again this will definitely be a place we visit again.
One of the best Italian places! I love that they do a specialty pizza each week. Staff has always been friendly and professional when serving my family and me.
Il Ritrovo’s homemade soups are SPECTACULAR and with all respect to my mother’s beloved Calabrian cooking, just as delicious . . . and even next level amazing!
Parking: Free parking for patrons of the restaurant in the back side of the restaurant.

As always, excellent food quality, unfortunately a small note on the service, too hasty. You cannot receive dessert while we are still eating pizza.

This place has the best pizza in Wisconsin! My only recommendation is to eat in the dining room and not at the bar. There used to be better staff, but lately there's been an older lady tending bar that has seemed drunk the last two times I've been in. Doesn't really fit the classy vibe, and incredible menu and wine list. Also can't wait for summer when their patio is open!
Excellent service all around! I had a caprese salad and a gluten free pizza. My drink was a blood orange margarita. The salad was so good! The pizza was ok and I'm sure if I was not limited to gluten free it would be so much better. It was just mainly crust with scarce toppings. I had to refuse the bread/oil but that looked incredible.

On New Years Eve, we walked into the bar for a drink after we ate at their sister restaurant Trattoria Stefanos. The bartender was the rudest bartender I’ve ever witnessed. She asked another bartender if they were open, knowing that they did not want to serve even though they were open. The other bartender responding asking if they were open, so they were just bouncing back and forth off eachother. Then she responded no were closed. We will never be going there again, and will pick up pizza at the market on the corner if we want that pizza. She is the rudest bartender I’ve ever seen.
