New China 8 Buffet Inc

My Wife ordered food on 10/29/2024 at 2:42pm. The ordered was supposedly picked up at 3:02pm. But as the screenshot from the surveillance camera shows, it was not delivered until 4:27pm.
How is this possible? Eat street is refusing to take any responsibility. So we have no choice but to never order from this store again.

After waiting over an hour, with my food having already been delivered from another establishment. She decided to order food from else where, which came promptly.

Finally food from this store arrived at 4:27pm as mentioned before. Food was not what my wife asked for. On the ticket it clearly asks for no scallions, either the staff didnot care or my wife was surved old soup that was clearly nuked in the oven.

Do yourselves a favor and avoid ordering from this store.

Mostly all breaded chicken dishes. Pull shrimp. 1 beef dish. Seafood dish is just imitation crab. Old rubbery calamari that would give you food poisoning. Surprised they even had that from the other limited dishes you get. Burnt lo mein. You can tell this buffet is trying to cut costs. 13.99 which is cheap. I'd rather pay the 17-18 to have some salmon or coconut shrimp. Nope coconut chicken. More chicken on chicken

Got there shortly after they opened on a Saturday. Nothing was fresh and looked like it had been sitting out from the day before. None of the food was warm. Everything was dried out. I'm not a picky eater and struggled to find anything that was worth getting more of.

1 star is too high of a rating! This place looks like it hasn't been taken care of in a decade. Nearly EVERY booth had significat damage to material that they just covered with a piece of fabric and duct tape! Looked hideous and frankly wasn't comfortable either! Food choices were very minimal and nothing was hot. Service was AWFUL, I had to request more water because nobody came to the table after seating us. Lastly, the bathroom had 2 stalls and 1 didn't have a lock at all. Absolutely everything was terrible here. We will not be returning!!

This place is just nasty the food SUCKED. Not only that but I went to the restroom and there was a cockroach on the wall. This place is very dirty. Never again will I go back there

Well what can I say? Food was overcooked and sitting out all day probably - we got there and were the only people there - now I know why- and bathrooms- I’ve seen clear ones in Gary Indiana- I do not recommend - sorry folks

Had a takeout of fried rice and hot and sour soup. Soup was really good and they accommodated my dietary restriction which is very kind of them. However the fried rice was very plain and not much flavour to it.
I will give them a chance to see if you like their taste.

The ONLY takeout spot yalls should order from. Steaming hot, Incredible flavor, Charismatic beautiful ladies making sure i got what i wanted. Portions for the price are as if inflation doesnt even mean anything. And dont get me started about the Szechuan options

Why tf are the mashed potatoes better than anything I’ve eaten, those shrimp were kinda big ngl, the general tso chicken was better than grandmas cookies, and them rolls… ?

The food was terrible! Most of it was very old, some was ice cold and the lo mein noodles tasted burnt. Maybe there are days where it's better but today was not the day. The waitress was nice but that was the only good thing we had.

First time going there I'm not impressed at ALL. I normally do not do reviews but I was not happy! there orange chicken which is my favorite was soggy and tasted like they just warmed it up from the day before there noodles tasted burnt. There food in general tasted like they put it on the stove and warmed it up from everything i tryed there. The waitress sneezed all over our fortnate cookies I looked up at her she used her elbow the next time she sneezed then she sneezed all over stuff by the pop machine they she walked over and used her hand to wipe the snot from her nose absolutely Disgusting. That is why they make napkins or tissue to wipe ur nose. Or atleast wash ur hands after that. There bathrooms are Disgusting. I do think that the health department should be doing a investigation in my opinion. Sorry but not happy at all!!!
