Pop's Burger & Pizza House

Went to eat here for the first time tonight. Ordered the Mexican pizza without tomatoes or jalapeños. First bite...hmmmm, pretty spicy for no jalapeños but I can't see any on the pizza. Next bite...yikes, still spicy...must be the seasoned meat. Third bite the toppings fell off and ta-da...there are the jalapeños I didn't ask for, hiding under the cheese! Pick them off, making a mess of the pizza I just wanted to enjoy. Next flip of the toppings exposes the tiny diced tomatoes I didn't ask for. Server asks how everything is, I tell her. The response? "What do you want me to do about it?" Ahhhhh, nothing...just won't come back. Was given a 20% discount at the register and my bill was still over $21 for a pizza I couldn't eat and a fountain drink.

On the coldest night in January, we enjoyed the juiciest biggest burger, about 5" tall and the most delectably crafted and flavored flat bread. We'll be back!

We ordered the al capone burger and the brisket burger both were so delicious! We also got the Hawaiian pizza To go and it was simply the best Hawaiian pizza I've had.

This "burger joint" was simply awful. My wife and I dined here and paid $20 each for burgers that were cheap, greasy, and undercooked. The food was akin to from a chep motel breakfast. Cheap ingredients and quality. For the price I would have expected to at least be served. But we were neither waited upon or checked on. My wife and I both got sick as soon as we got home.

We had our little office Christmas party there today for lunch. The food was very good and the woman that was working was so great and friendly. I highly recommend! Thanks Pops Burger & Pizza House for a great experience

Spectacularly friendly little place that was just what we were looking for! Pizza was good, beer was great, sandwiches were excellent. Atmosphere was perfect for talking with each other. We all wished we had found this place a lot sooner on our trip.

Burnt top amd bottom, no option to share a pic. Imagine that! Take out order. Had drinks while waiting and only 1 table in the whole place. Used to be amazing! Would never recommend we will NEVER go back!

Legitimately one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered the Fire burger which had pepperjack and jalapeños. I have a high spice tolerance and did wonder just how hot could it be? Cuz you know, sometimes jalapeños aren't spicy at all. But this burger was perfectly seasoned. Perfectly medium rare. Perfectly THIAQQ & juicey patty. Perfectly mouth tingling with spice! I cut the burger in half to see the layers and could not even take a picture cuz the burger DEMANDED that I devour it immediately. I think I involuntarily let out an indecent moan. Sorry! 😬 But it was just SO GOOD!

At first I was gonna complain that the fries were undersalted/underseasoned BUT with how flavorful the burger is, the fries became a welcome contrast to give my mouth a break from the burger tingle.

My friend and I came on a Wednesday so it was $4 Mule night. I love a good, classic mule, but decided to be adventurous and ordered their mango habenero mule, which was also DELISH. Subtly fruity. An understated smokey spice that was refreshing and gulp-worthy! It reminded me of this cocktail I had at Bryant's Cocktail Lounge in MKE called the bonecrusher, but this mule was more up my alley with the mango.

I am definitely coming back and I 10/10 highly recommend to anyone wanting a juicey burger!

Parking: Parking is metered during the day weekdays, but free after 5pm weekdays and all day weekends. Free parking on streets running north/south off Michigan Ave.

Our wedding guests raved about the quality of the tacos. We were searching for the right taco truck as I’m particular about them and I’m so glad we found you. Your prices were reasonable for the amount of people needed.I would 100% recommend this taco truck to anyone needing it for a wedding or big events 🙂 Everything was amazing!
