We had reservations for Sunday evening. We picked this restaurant because it was close to the Stephanie Weill Center, as we had tickets for a show. Our dinner reservations were for 4:45 pm. We arrived at 4:45 pm and they were closed! They took our order phone number when we made the reservations but we didn’t receive a call informing us of any changes. We had to get on our cell phones to find other dinner arrangements for 7 people !
If you weren't planning on opening, you could at least put a sign in the window. Many confused customers with reservations were waiting outside.
We sat in a large, bright room. Uncomfortable. Not a supper cub vibe. We were eight. There were many open tables but they would not sit us together. The salad bar looked terrible. Limited items and not very fresh looking. One couple ordered a reuben. Served cold. Another found the onion soup poor. My wife and I were not hungry and split a cod sandwich. When our bill came there was a 'split charge'. No where on the menu nor did our waitress indicate this charge when ordering. They had no steak on the menu. Supposedly under new management. They have a long way to go to make this a viable option. Cannot recommend.
Second time here, my steak was so good this time compared to last time. Good salad bar and soup.

You don't find places like this too often anymore. It is old school. The food and service are excellent, and that's all that matters.

Attempted to check in for a table and the woman at the podium couldn't be any more rude.

Service was poor and servers were unpleasant. Food was very average. Ice cream drinks were excellent!

Hostess with mostest was lacking, as was the service..very slow, not very attentive waitress. Whitefish was not good ? but my steak, tenderloin, was very good. Beer cheese soup was good. Dine & dash came to mind, but I don't steal. Idk, I'm sure others have had a great experience, but @ 8 pm on a Saturday night, late enough, you'd think the service would have been a bit more on top of it.

Fun downtown supper club
Really nice place with a good cozy atmosphere. Decor is a bit dated but it was very clean. I had the ribeye steak dinner topped with mushrooms and onions. This included a cup of clam chowder, rolls, sweet potato waffle fries, and salad bar. The steak was cooked very nicely and wasn't over seasoned, absolutely delicious. The soup and side were also fantastic.
Service was good, though I did have to ask for silverware as there was none at the table. Mistakes happen, and I didn't have any other complaints.
The bar service was also good, and the bartender talked to us about their homemade bitters and how they make it while preparing our drinks. Drink prices were also very reasonable.

The bar was beautiful. The owner/ bartender was cold and non engaging .
The hostess is the same way, cold and none engaging. The dining room has booths, but don't take a booth if you are built like a typical wisconsinite they are for skinny people. The food was OK, not great. Do not pay extra for the bacon cheese baked potato broiled baked potato with american cheese on top was terrible. The services was OK, not great. I will not go back. it was not worth the money.

The food was pretty good but I prefer a steak from Texas Roadhouse. My wife and I felt a little out of place at this restaurant because it seems to attract an older crowd. We would probably eat here again though, as we still enjoyed it and it is close to our home in Sheboygan.
