Update 2: it has gotten even less catchy, but I feel like they have figured out what they are doing with the food and the recipes. While I miss the old flavors and textures, it was really good today and I was really happy that we gave it another chance!Update: it's...different. Not bad, but pretty different. Less kitschy, food not as good, but not BAD.***BEST food in the area! We travel from Manitowoc to eat there! The food is good, the atmosphere friendly, and it's always tidy.I'm really sad I left my to-go box behind last time! There's enough food for two meals!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options, but changes what's included in the dish. Ask for a description if getting a vegetarian dish.

New owner, place is newly renovated. Food is a solid 8/10 but the wait times are usually 30mins to an hour or more long. I came here three times since the new owner opened because I had appointment here and I love asian food but the service is super slow however the staffs are kind. You do have to awhile for appetizers and refill on water though. So if you're hungry I don't recommend coming here unless you're okay with waiting that long. Last time I was here 11/26/23 the wait time for our three four dishes were over an hour long. The food is amazing here but helpfully they'll reconstruct their service time better.

It was a cute little place to enjoy a good meal. The papaya salad was Bomb! Everything else we ordered was all delicious and perfect. The owners were so sweet and great hospitality. Thanks for the great experience, it was our first time and will stop by again when we visit Sheboygan.

Both were delicious. I liked the selection of vegetables they have for both curries. Asked for level 3. I think it was perfect for our taste!!!They serve it hot temperature. For 2 to 3 mins, sip it with caution. After that, it is just to fun have yellow and red curry with rice.Chicken satay was fried, my taste is having grilled chicken satay. May be they will consider as option in near future.Overall great Thai food!!! Must try is Sheboygan, WI.

I love thai cafe and their food but this week, I order pho Togo on Monday, found a bug floating in my broth so I went in for a new one. I ordered pho Togo again today and found even more bugs in my broth the moment I open the lid. I will no longer eat there, I'm a little grossed out. Who knows how many bugs I ate without checking before.

We were very pleased with our selection we had the egg rolls with sweet and sour , Red Curry with chicken and tofu , and the Pad Thai we had ours with heat of between 2-3 wow was there heat and so much flavor all the food was served fresh and hot and delicious our waitress was great checked on us frequently and the owner came to see how our dining experience was very friendly and cannot wait to return and try other food options here.

Their food is good, but if you want take out a hour before they close, they won’t do it. Nor will they answer their phone. No matter how easy the food is. This happens every time I have tried to call in. Really unfortunate.

It was our first time eating there since the new owners. The staff was kind so I can’t fault them, but the food was awful. The pho was lukewarm and my noodles were hard. $6 for a rib is robbery. The egg rolls are a joke. My husbands finger is just as big. And there was no meat in them. I understand wanting to cut down on the meat so you don’t spend as much as a business owner but there was none whatsoever. Also, they put pho noodles in my spring rolls?? ? We will not be going there again and would not recommend to anyone.
I got pad Thai today. I’m so disappointed it. IT’s taste sour and the meat have to be sliced but they just used ground pork. Not worth it my $15.

Figure by going in mid afternoon would not have to wait based on previous reviews. Food taste and portion is not an issue. The management obviously don't read these reviews. Waiting almost 30m while watching Asian customers come in after we ordered and being served before us clearly was an issue of service and discrimination. On top of that all three of our dishes came out at different times and never asked if we wanted any spices in our table as all the others were given without questioning. Take out is the only option for this place but I would give an hour window based on previous reviews and now dining in.

I love local restaurants owned by members of the community. So if you’re like me and want to keep loving you’re experience, and if you’re looking to eat here with a group of 2+ or order takeout, budget a wait time of at least 45 minutes. Maybe even find a way to order in advance.Where I do appreciate that each dish is made to order, I also have to be honest about the fact that we waited sooo long without any updates from staff, without being offered refills, or really any basic customer service (which is an acquired skill, so there is hope). Thai Cafe was easily one of the best restaurants in the area at one point, and it still can be. I would highly encourage management to invest in customer service training for their staff and to create processes and procedures for quicker turn out on their food orders. We shouldn’t wait an hour for bowls of pho.

service for a group of 4 people took an hour to get food. we had to ask the server if our food was made or not. server just said she will go check. 15 min later our food arrive. we ordered their pad see ew, pho combination, fish with their sauce, duck over rice , and fried rice. Water was not serve unless asked and the Only refill we got was when we finally got our food. pho was NASTY! who knew how long the bowl was sitting there. the pho was like warm and the noodles were soggy ! the broth was salty to the point it couldn't be save with any condiments. pad see ew! let me tell you when the name says EW! it was awful ! the worse I've had where you couldn't taste the sauce but the saltiness only. all the flavor was saltiness. it's like they just added soy sauce to make the noodles look like it was mixed with some sauce and added more salt to it. if you want that extra sodium in your body to go up, order right away! their fish with that sauce was absolutely horrified ! the fish was literally fried to the bone ! you had no flesh on that fish to enjoy ! it was so fried that all we had was skin stuck to the bone ! fish looked plump but so fried there was no meat on it to enjoy. and the duck over rice ! ha! that was a total joke ! you literally get 5 pieces of duck over a bowl of rice and a bed of steamed veggies ! the duck meat had no flavor and even putting on the sauce they set on the side was horrified! no flavor! again salt only ! after The food was serve we realized that the fried rice hasnt came out. We asked the gentleman server again about it and he said he will go check. 15 min later the lady server came back saying that the dish was being made right now. We were already fed up with the service and had to cancel it as we were not going to wait another 30 min for a dish they forgot. When it was time for us to pay they didn't take off the fried rice. We had to tell them to take it off. And They double charge us for the pad see ew where the server has the audacity to stand her ground that we did order the combination and the beef pad see ew. We statesthat we had the combination but did not get the beef one alone and to remove it. The owner finally came out to resolve the issue. We will not be back as food was hideous and service was bad. With the amount we paid it was not worth it. We left still feeling hungry and not satisfied with anything they had. If this is your first time having "Thai " food, and think it's good reconsider and try other places with Thai food. You'd be surprised.
