Do not expect to receive the food as described in the menu; at least some of the descriptions in the menu are not accurate.
Patio was extremely dirty which attracted a disproportionate amount of flies. Food was cold, so the server let us know that she would have the kitchen microwave some more. The second time the food came out it was even colder. I spoke with the manager Lindsay at that point and she informed me that the kitchen was not microwaving the food long enough, and she assured me that the kitchen would microwave our food longer this time.
The manager should probably be retrained as well as the cook at the microwave station; or better yet, ditch the microwave altogether.
We left feeling really bad because my mom tried so hard to find a good restaurant for us all to enjoy.

Drinks were good, bartender pleasant. The prime rib sandwich was full of gristle and fat, horrible sandwich. Pointed it out to the server. Charged full price, no offer to replace or comp. I paid my bill. Will not ever go back. Cannot recommend.

We stopped in on Sunday about 1:30pm for a late lunch. We sat at the bar and had wonderful service from the bartender Abby. The bar area seats 15 and 10 seats were filled, plus she also had to fill the 2 waitresses drink orders, she knocked it out of the park! Was she busy, oh yes, but she was so organized, mixing drinks or beers, but still engaged with her direct customers. We were very impressed. The food was served in a very timely manner given it was Father's Day and the restaurant was busy. I had a chicken and bacon wrap, that could feed 2 people, but I toughed it out and at it all, it was delicious. My brother had the chicken strips, they were 6 large strips, deep fried and also delicious. Oh, I almost forgot if you sit in the dining area the view of Shell Lake are outstanding.

Stopped by around 3 and there were only a few people there which I’m sure is because we were early. Greeted promptly and attended to right away. The food and service was excellent. I like boneless chicken and this was by far the best boneless chicken I’ve had. It didn’t taste so fake or bland like bar food can sometimes taste. Overall I’d definitely recommend this spot. Cool place and area.

Went in for supper with friends. Caelyn was our server. Very polite and attentive. Coleslaw could have used some dressing but shrimp dinner and brosted chicken was awsome!

We were on vacation in Spooner. Party of 7, we came here cause we wanted outdoor seating with a view. Lakeview did not disappoint! The food and service was great! 3 of us got steak bites. Two got fish tacos, then fish sandwich and a cheeseburger. All meals were really good. Only 1 person in our group didn't care for the fries. Got Bavarian pretzel and cheese curds as appetizer, excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant!

We got there At 6:45 and ordered some drinks and apps for us and the kids apps came and we had no drinks had to ask for them then fiancé had to go to the bar for a refill after ordered another 6 top came in sat down got there food and drinks before we got our drinks ate their food and got their bill before we even got our food witch we never did receive after a hour of waiting and having to wait on our selfs we decided to leave and go back to rice lake and have dinner we were really looking forward to trying this unfortunately we won’t be back
Got the pretzel. The dip was horrible! We took it to go and bought cheese dip for it at the store.

Lakeview Bar and Grill has a beautiful patio with a relaxing view, perfect for enjoying a drink on a nice day. The atmosphere was pleasant and the employees were wonderful, making it a great place to unwind. However, the pizza was just okay—not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. If you're looking for a place to hang out and enjoy the lake view, this spot works well, but the pizza could use a little improvement.

Food was typical, not bad and not great. We had the cod dinner. No gluten free options outside of brioled fish. Was a little chaotic with the staff. Waitress seemed uninterested and in a hurry (wasn't very busy). Not sure if we would come back.
