My husband and I went for the first time this past Friday. We had such a nice server, her name is Mariana. She had a good energy and perfectly paced everything. We felt very comfortable, never rushed. The food was amazing. Everything was sooo good! We are looking forward to coming back and bringing family :)

Thank you to the man that tried to help me find the owner of a dog that she left in the car she was working out next door . I wanted to personally thank you but you were busy working . Sorry I don't have your name but you were wearing a maroon shirt .

Emily gave us an exceptional dining experience. The food was amazing, our cocktails were fabulous (try the Rye Manhattan Up!), and the vintage decor really sets the tone. Highly recommended-
Buttermint is so freaking cute! I have had the mushroom/muenster grilled sandwich and the halibut main dish and both were DELICIOUS. Love the atmosphere and service too. No complaints. Will be back.

Have been here twice now. It’s easy to be excited by how beautiful it is the second you walk through the door. The rest of the experience delivers as well. Both times are servers have been phenomenal and food has been to die for.Would highly recommend to everyone!

We settled on going to dinner here after googling “patio restaurants” in our area. After stepping inside, the first thing I noticed was that it was busy, but the staff seemed to be keeping their cool. The hostess was very nice and even though it was a 30min wait for a table, the bar had plenty seats open so we decided to sit at the bar. While sitting at the bar, the Brewers game was on and great music was playing. Everything seemed to be thought of, from the bar stools (they were so comfy for bar stools) to the decor. The bartender gave us menus as she greeted us and gave us plenty of time to look it over and decide on drinks. We got an Arnold Palmer and an old fashion from tap. Both drinks made us feel as though we were drinking the finest elixirs. The old fashion was pretty good and we were thankful for it to not have tasted like gasoline with a cherry on top. We also ordered the cheese curds, which came out just before the hunger parasites took over. Perfect timing. The cheese curds were beer battered to airy and crispy deliciousness. The sauce that came with it was pretty good too. It tasted like tartar sauce and house made ranch had a baby and named it Dilly, but in the best way.For our dinner, we ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the chicken sandwich with fries. Even though it took a while for our food to come out, it was worth the wait because it was absolutely delicious. Whoever cooked that carbonara deserves the most tender kiss on the lips and sweet nothings whispered into their ear. At the end of our meal, we began to plan our bedtime routines when the bartender presented the dessert menu. Being pretty full and pretty sleepy, we ordered desserts to go: banana cream pie, salted caramel brown butter pie, and funfetti bar with strawberry sherbet. It was a 7 min ride home. Upon switching into clothes that better housed our swollen bellies, we decided to crack open the desserts and gave them a try. I cannot find the words to describe the sounds we made. On the bottom tier is banana cream pie. It tasted like it was banana pudding’s less successful older sibling- good, but not proud of admitting to trying. The middle tier goes to the funfetti bar. We love birthday cake flavored things and thought this was good. We definitely would order this again, however, it just wasn’t top tier. The top tier of the three was the salted caramel brown butter pie. Whose idea was it to make this? I hope their pillow is always cool. I hope every light they drive to turns green when they get to it and I hope their phone never dies from low battery. Overall, this was a great experience. The staff seemed to handle the chaos with ease and made the atmosphere seem so chill. We loved it here, 10/10.

Great atmosphere at this restaurant. The service was great. We had the cheese curds as an app and they were very good with a papery crust. I had the old fashioned ham sandwich and it was a little messy, but it tasted great. Overall I'd recommend it.

Jesus, this place cranks so hard. Been meaning to try it for a while and it was so worth it. Drinks GREAT, food GREAT, service GREAT. Kid friendly too! If you’ve got kids that misbehave a lot and scream, probably not the place for you. If your kid’s generally a good cookie, roll up. Go Bucks.

Great place to eat! Love having a quality restaurant in Shorewood we can walk to! Food is really great! We started with the calamari and cheese curds, both of which were excellent. We got scallops, steak, medallions, and short ribs, all of which were delicious. Our server was super nice and incredibly helpful as we have food allergies (nuts). She was very comfortable talking us through the menu and knew all the ingredients off the top of her head. So appreciate when restaurants can help us in this way. Overall, have been 3 times and each time has been so pleasant! Plan to go again soon!
Dietary restrictions: We have a nut allergy in our family and they had absolutely no concerns they could provide us an excellent safe meal. There were a couple dishes they told us to avoid, otherwise numerous other options were available and safe.
Kid-friendliness: They were super sweet to our kids and do provide a menu with several standard kids options. I didn’t try our child’s food, but she’s typically quite picky and she ate all of it without a single complaint. So, must have been very good!

We loved the fish and salads we had and the Brussel sprouts were perfect. I had one of their NA drinks and it did not disappoint! I was a little disappointed that they no longer have the bread service we ate last summer as I was looking forward to it. I also was surprised they no longer do the tin of buttermints and simply serve it in a bowl- less cute:( Our server was AMAZING and attentive and didn't mind that we lingered. Overall a very fun experience. I did not care for the potato pancake that came with my trout- it seemed overdone and the sauce didn't match thee rest of the flavor profile of the entree.

This place is really fun! Casual art deco digs and a creative and engaging menu. We loved all of it! The Staff were superb, and the best bathrooms maybe ever. My only complaint was ALL the dishes were salty, like really salty. Even my salad. I didn’t really mind but, it was a bit much after a couple of course.I look forward to trying the other restaurants from these creators!
