This morning, as my dog and I went for our usual walk and passed by the Einstein Bros. Bagels in Shorewood, my pup found a discarded food container on the periphery of the property that she was investigating. My dog finished checking the container out and we turned to continue our walk, when out of nowhere, an employee who clearly had been watching and waiting for us to walk by rushed out of the building and accosted us. She immediately began yelling and ranting that she watched us on our walks all the time (not creepy at all) and that I was abusing my dog by letting her investigate items surrounding the store (I'm a veterinarian and rest assured my rescued dog is quite healthy and well taken care of and most certainly not abused). I don't know about the rest of you, but I always like to receive unsolicited advice about how I'm caring for my pets from people working at Einstein's. If the fact that this place barely can muster a one and a half star average review due to poor food, cleanliness and customer service isn't enough to keep me away, this incident most definitely will. I'm hoping that appropriate action will be taken and that this employee will be fired immediately.

Bagels the same, they are great. However, it was a very sad experience as they have removed all indoor seating and there outdoor seating was not maintained. Overflow trash cans and a filthy patio. Loved visiting family and walking with grandson to Einstein’s in Shorewood, having our bagel and drink, then bringing back bagels for those that would not get up at 7am. Reconsider and bring back indoor dining!

I think it’s insane that their dining room remains closed when every other restaurant has opened back up. Put your seating back.

August 8th 2023 Tuesday 10:02 am whoever the miserable girl was on the cash register has no ppl skill and could not even hide her hate for the sake of her job .on top of her additude she charged me for jelly with a breakfast sandwich that's like charging me for ketchup with fries... nobody forced you to come to work and this world does not belong to u treat everyone with respect

Great selection of breakfast items, fast service, order ahead if desired. Friendly and clean, no dining in though.
Great place for breakfast.The Texas brisket on the jalapeno bagel was amazing, we ate it two days in a row.Good coffee as well.Friendly and quick service.They don't allow seating inside so you will have to sit on the patio.

Placed an order for pick up and when I arrived the the lights were off and the one person taking out the garbage looked like he was leaving early. I said excuse me I'm here to pick up my online order. He said there's no online order. That was 12:48 pm on 7/12/23. 4301 N. Oakland Ave. He closed the back door and and locked it. I have a receipt for the order that shows the correct address and now I paid for food that wasn't made. What a shame that a business would have an employee like this that doesn't care about the listed hours of business and customer service. Now I have to head back to this place and get my refund. What an embarrassment to this business. The receipt speaks for itself

These bagels look like they were baked yesterday/could be dog biscuits! They are rock hard. The atmosphere is sketchy and workers are interesting to say the least. Really sad to see what this place has become.
