Wonderful coffee shop. Great selection of syrups for any type of latte. Also a big selection of pastries and food. Frank, a barista goes above and beyond for their customers. Overall, a really great place to study or meet up with friends.

I ordered off the app and I asked for cold foam and it didn’t mark it on my pick up order so I asked the guy for some and he said “well I don’t just have it laying around” and walked away. Great service 👍🏻

Great coffee and great service! I asked for a slight change to my coffee and they remade it with no issue whatsoever. So kind about it too! Thank you to the wonderful staff who provided me 10/10 coffee! 💓

Used to be 5 stars.
New app changed and now rewards system charges over double points fr each redemption.
Has gone the way of big business even though local. Sent message to them and they just responded that it’s the way it is.

Had the Turkey club on Sourdough. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

I have been a loyal customer of Collectivo/Alterra for 20 years and my recent experience at the SHOREWOOD cafe left me wondering what happened to the coffee making quality. Being somewhat as coffee connoisseur, I have always appreciated the cafes attention to making a nice shot of espresso. Many a time I watched the espresso being ground and tamped down and the rich espresso being extracted.
Recently I was at the cafe and was watching the barista and noticed their lack of quality control on how the barista tamped down the grounds. He barley touched the grounds, just smoothing them out and then right into the machine. I know there needs to be a little pressure placed on the grounds to ensure they are packed down to ensure a good pot, but that didn’t happen.
I feel that there seems to be a lack of training or care shown by the newer employees and I it’s quite disappointing.

Nice, clean neighborhood hangout. Love that there is outdoor seating year round with little gazebos in case one is walking with the dog and has to sit outside.

Veggie pesto burrito was supposed to have egg in it. No egg detected. It was also supposed to have been made with provolone, a white cheese, but the only cheese in it was an orange hue and tasted like cheap, American cheese. Salsa was watery. Hot chocolate was specifically ordered in a cup (dine-in), with only a little milk added and extra whipped cream. First, I was given a paper cup with a plastic lid. When it was remade, it was loaded with milk, had barely a hint of chocolate flavor, and the whipped cream was sprayed out of a can and tasted like it — overly sweet and fake. If anything had been good, the price would’ve been reasonable. As it was, it was a waste of money.

Nice laid back atmosphere, I had a Carmel macchiato latte which was delicious, and their prices are comparable to other coffee shops around here. ?
