My sisters and I went for the Sunday Brunch, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I enjoyed everything I tried, but my favorites were the Apple & Honey Baked Ham and the Wisconsin cheesy hash browns. The bacon and sausage were also perfectly seasoned, not too salty, with just the right amount of flavor.

The brunch was reasonably priced for all that was offered, and I definitely plan to return with my husband next time. For those that have difficulty walking, they offer golf cart transportation to the lodge, which I truly appreciated.

I went to my cousins wedding reception a decade ago…. I’ve been living down the block from it for YEARS and didn’t know…. THEY OFFER BRUNCH?!?!? The French toast bake is to die for…. I wanna get it Togo….. I will have to find out if that’s possible 👀☠️

Had my wedding reception at the lodge and couldn’t be more impressed with the staff who helped me make it happen. They were responsive, organized, and very easy to talk to.

The place itself needs a freshen up. -Lose the gingham tablecloths, freshen up the indoor and outdoor planter boxes per the season. Light the fire, or decorate it with greenery.
Food was delicious! We went for brunch, and were seated on time per our reservation. It took a bit for the waitress to get our drink order and explain the brunch stations, but she was pretty busy.
-she should have told us to order the made-to-
order omelets as soon as we sat down. There was a long wait for them, as they only had one guy making them.
All the food offered was great. Ham and turkey were tender, potatoes delicious, fruit varied and fresh, salad was limited, but very good.

My children actually used to live above the lodge and always gave me these stories that the place was beautiful. They underspoke, this place was gorgeous, the service was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing.

Went here for the first time on Sunday. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and seated immediately. The food was meh. When we accidentally knocked over a water glass at our table, no one came by to help us clean it up. I asked the young man behind the bar for cloth or a towel or a napkin and he tossed a bar rag at me. I did not realize that coffee was not included in the price of the buffet which I think is odd. Although it is a very lovely venue, I would not return.

This is one of Milwaukee’s best held secrets. The food was so delicious and the staff was amazing.
Loved Adrian…(hostess/manager?)
She greeted us and kept things moving along with our server, Daniel (the assistant manager) both were so personable! It was our anniversary and they brought us a piece of chocolate cake that we could eat later (bc we were filled to the brim with the great food)

We will be back for the fish fry (didn’t even know they had that too!)

Bravo for making this day so special!

This was my 1st time here and it was really nice. The bread pudding was amazing and so was the fruit bar! Our waiter was really nice and polite so were other staff & customers we interacted with. If you haven’t done so already give it a try!

-We had our wedding reception at Hubbard Park Lodge on 05/31/25, and along with all our wedding guests we had an absolutely wonderful time! The food was all phenomenal, the staff/team was awesome, and the venue itself is a beautiful and historic gem right off of the Milwaukee river.

-Our guests loved the neat 2nd level open-view balcony surrounding the main flow, and also enjoyed the outside patio with some nice evening sun! We had no issues fitting 150 people with a full buffet style setup (which is max for buffet style, traditional style I believe you can fit 175). Everyone had a great view of the action, and looking back on it I wouldn't have rather had our wedding reception any other way.

-It was NO problem after dinner to tear down tables to create a dance floor; in fact we even were able to get some great golden hour pictures outside while the team quickly and smoothly took care of everything! There was plenty of room, including enough for a FULL group photo.

-From start to finish the Hubbard park lodge team treated us well, and we had no issues with communication (or any notable concerns). They were also super accommodating the day-of by helping store our homemade desserts AND allowing/helping move materials in during off hours, which was deeply appreciated. We really thank the whole team and have also attached some pictures to really show the wonderful setting that Hubbard Park Lodge can offer for your event!

Father's day was great. A glitch in the reservation was quickly managed. Beautiful space, take time for a walk up the river on a nicely groomed walking trail.

Everything about this place is incredible. It’s an institution here in Shorewood. The hash browns alone are worth a trip for the brunch. Service is stellar and you just can’t beat the environment and backdrop of the gorgeous Hubbard Park.

Hubbard Park Lodge is a Milwaukee classic - nestled in a hidden-away, wooded park full of old-world charm. Sitting along the scenic Milwaukee River, it offers a feeling of escape, just minutes from the city, yet worlds away. Entering the park through old stone tunnels feels like stepping into a quieter, more peaceful world. Once inside, the Lodge welcomes guests with soaring cathedral ceilings, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and a spacious veranda overlooking the river. As a wedding photographer, I am constantly evaluating venues by how photographic they are - and with its rustic elegance and casual charm, it's a warm, inviting space for any celebration. Whether planning an intimate gathering or a lively reception, the Lodge is a great choice!
