Ney’s is an incredible asset to the Slinger community! Not only is the selection of meats, pastries and speciality items phenomenal, but the service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced in my life! I often go in with my toddler aged children and the staff is always welcoming, patient and goes over the top to be helpful! Doug always says hello and even offered to carry my basket around while I shopped since I was juggling both that and my child. Just so friendly, delicious and focused on small businesses and high quality artisan products! Cannot recommend this more and I’m so happy they are here!

I rarely post about food, but I am have to boast about the bone-in chicken wings at Ney's Premium Meats & Sweets. I’ve been eating Ney’s meats for years. I love the natural beef, chicken, pork, and a wide variety of brats. Doug Ney opened up a brick-and-mortar store in downtown Slinger just over a year ago. The menu for lunch had been expanded to include wings. I am always on the hunt for ‘good’ wings. And I’ve found them! I ordered the bone-in wings with the Garlic and Parmesan dry rub. At first taste, the rub was a bit salty. However, when I bit into the crispy skin, and salt was perfect. The meat inside was fresh; tender and juicy. Just like all of Doug’s products, I could tell immediately that this meat was not frozen and shipped from miles away. I can taste Doug’s passion for high quality meat in every bite!

I ordered ribeye steaks and they came extremely quickly. I just grilled two steaks and Sally and I couldn’t believe the juicy ness and the almost melt in your mouth texture! The flavor was exceptional! I’ve been eating steak for a very long time ( I’m retired) and I can honestly say this was the best steak ever! I’m going to be a regular customer from now on. In my opinion the products sold here are very inconsistent and the "story" the employees tell about having Wisconsin Farms they source their products from seems phony. I tried looking up their farm and cannot find records that they still own a farm. I love their brats but used the number in the inspection symbol to locate their sources to get my favorite flavors. Its sad to see a company that could excel in the meat industry lie. They tarnish the credibility of other local farmers that are trying to sell their products HONESTLY. Branding themselves as local farmers seems to be a BIG lie as one of their employees continually said they are Wisconsin sourced. This doesn't mean their products are coming from Wisconsin Farms. Do your research and find a better local farmer or meat company to support.
