Went there for Thanksgiving. Wonderful, inviting, and cozy. The food was better than anything I've ever had. The pie, oh WOW! Don't miss this place if you are in the neighborhood.

Very unique and fun atmosphere in the Eau Claire Lakes area. We went for a Friday Fish Fry and enjoyed a few brandy old fashioneds too.

The food was delicious and crunchy! Salad plates were chilled, and the salad bar was decent. Fun atmosphere, plenty to look at!

Wouldn't bother stopping here. The service was slow and RUDE. My friends I was staying with said it was the same way last year. I can understand things take time but rudeness is never okay in my book. It's ashame because the place has such a good location. There will not be a next time here. We ended up leaving with nothing.

We went to a Friday fish fry at the nearby VFW. It was very crowded, so went to the Windsor for drinks. We had never been here before and it was a surprise inside. From the outside, this place looks like a small bar. Once inside it is a pretty good size fine dining restaurant. The bar is the first thing you see as you enter and directly facing you as you enter is Nigel. Who is Nigel you say? Nigel is the mascot, or host or someone scary depending on your initial perception. He is a full size, life-like motorized mannequin who will talk to you. He also holds a plate of candy treats for you to try. Around the bar on two sides is the quite adequate formal dining area with more than a dozen tables. Very nicely done and nice clean restrooms. They have a full supper club style menu. We did not try the food, having just eaten at the fish fry. So we sat at the bar and enjoyed conversation with Bob the bartender and the owner Nancy. Very nice people. We will be back again for dinner next time.

Dinner was good, but wasn't very hungry so had plenty of food. The breakfast is worth the trip. Made to order, the omelets are cooked right in the same room as you, you pick the ingredients you like from a wide assortmentof choices. It was delicious. Will try again. There is also live music here not sure how often.
