Love this place! Jimmy and I have wonderful conversations about music and the local patrons are a fun crowd.

Finally got around to checking out the Shop yesterday, Saturday! I didn't peruse their page before but assumed there was a mass of Oktoberfest shenanigans afoot. To my delight there was not and arriving shortly after 2:00 I had the joint to myself!! Allowing me to chat up friendly beertender Niki! She was so fun to talk to beer and breweries about. I liked their beer selection; not too much, not too little, just a good enough selection to reach any palate. I loved when I got up to take a picture and discovered an old cigarette vending machine. In the other room is a vintage motorcycle, vintage a hammerschlagen stump and a plethora of randomness sure to spark your nostalgia. It was a perfect afternoon for the two garage doors open. A cute chubby cat may pop on to the bar, I didn't have time to pet them as in my talking w my hands flailing I slapped the bar and they weren't sticking around for my antics. I really liked the welcoming and calm vibe of Beer Shop, the delightful, friendly service, and he beer selection. There is just a small parking lot off to the west but I think there may be street parking off to the east. Thanks Beer Shop for an absolutely wonderful inaugural visit, cheers.

Great pub for beer with a wide variety of bottled and on tap beer from around the region. Outside area is available, overall the car shop makes a cool setting for this place.

This hidden gem is a must-visit! Hard to imagine anyone rating this place less than 5 stars. The renovated mechanic-garage-bar exudes industrial charm, where every detail feels thoughtfully crafted with the community in mind. The retro signage instantly transports you to a simpler, mid-century era.

Set right on Wisconsin’s iconic Highway 16, it’s not just a bar, it’s a rite of passage for locals and travelers alike. With its garage doors wide open, you can sip a brew while soaking in the sweeping sunset views of the Coulees of the driftless region.

Inside, you’ll find an antique stop-and-go light, vintage motorcycles, and even turn-of-the-century safes that are too massive to move. Not to mention, the welded metal art of a brew-enthusiast robot kid out front adds a quirky, fun touch. Pair that with free arcade games, a giant patio Jenga, and a resident cat named Haze (a clever nod to hazy IPAs), and you've got yourself a place full of friendly, come-as-you-are vibes.

The beer menu is local and carefully curated—offering a top-notch selection of hop-forward favorites and unique brews you won’t find anywhere else -truly. Whether you’re a craft beer connoisseur or just looking for a place to unwind, this timeless haven promises great company, unforgettable patio experiences, and the best brews in towns!

Kid-friendliness: Little flight-sized cups of tap root-beer await the younger patrons, along with free popcorn, ample outdoor space on the patio, a resident cat, free arcade games, and for the truck obsessed toddler - a table-side highway abound with semis, dump-trucks, and other exciting drivebys!
