Against my better judgment I placed an order here. We've not had good luck with the bakery here. They've screwed up orders before. I placed a cake order over the phone with Sparta, WI Walmart bakery. The manager Alex was great and knew exactly what my 6-year-old wanted for his cake. She read the order back to me exactly as we discussed. Cake total was roughly $44.00 So on the pickup date, my husband went to pick up the cake he hadn't seen the cake prior so assumed it was correct. When my husband brought the cake in my son raced to look at it and started to cry and said Mama it's the wrong cake my birthday is ruined and continued to cry inconsolably. I then angry called Walmart and asked to Speak to Alex she answered the phone so I began to tell her what happened. She was very upset about it as well. Both of us were confused as to why this happened. She was very understanding of my anger about the situation. She apologized profusely about it. I do not blame her at all, but the cake decorators who can't follow instructions. She told me to come back in the morning and she'd refund me completely and that the person who made the mistakes would be dealt with. 1st picture below is what my son wanted with color some color modifications 2nd pic is what we got.? I do not recommend the decorators here! We will never place an order again!
