My wife and I have really enjoyed our visits to Reunion. On my visit last evening I had the pork belly plate which had a wonderful blend of flavors with the sweet potato puree, tasty and chewy pork belly and sweet apple slices. I chose macaroni and cheese as a side which went well-but then I've never NOT enjoyed mac and cheese. I had considered the greens which I really enjoyed before. My wife really liked her chicken sandwich which she chose that night having had the burgers three times in a row on previous visits (she says "The best burger ever"). When she expressed how wonderful the buns were to the owner, Leah, Leah informed Barb that she had made them herself! The next morning I went back for the brunch. I had the breakfast special with over easy eggs, bacon and substituted biscuits and gravy for the toast and a side. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was thick and crispy with a deep smoked flavor that went well with the herbal gravy on the biscuits. Their coffee was strong yet mellow. I did not order the bloody mary from the drink menu but admired one that was prepared with homemade tomato juice and celery and banana pepper garnish.

What an incredible gem!!! How lucky is Spring Green to have Reunion Family Barbecue! The food is amazing and the owners Kyle and Leah are two of the nicest people I have the pleasure to meet in my many visits to this fabulous little town. Five stars all day long!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Reunion is the perfect place to take visitors for an up-scale, affordable, dinner in a unique environment they will fondly remember when the vacation is over. And, it's a great spot for regular, weekly dinners. Call early to get a res because they are usually packed. Kyle, his wife, and staff make sure your visit is the best it can be. Love the brisket, love the drinks, love the fact I can run into half the town there.

The food was decent, the service was good....but an atmosphere reminiscent of cheetos and depends permeates the place.

This is our favorite restaurant in town. They support local farms and the local community as a whole. I’m sad to see all these negative reviews from people that haven’t actually been here and just leaving reviews because of a personal Facebook disagreement. Please read real reviews and consider giving the place a try if you’re in the river valley area.

Great ambience. Sizeable portions and good variety! Our food was all over seasoned and realllly salty, but would come back another time and try this place again! Really love the way they’ve laid out the different dining rooms & sections.

Excellent, creative food and drink. The Family Traditions cocktail was so, so good! The fried saltines were a terrific idea, and went so well with the pimento cheese and the salmon spread. BBQ chicken was very flavorful, and not dry. And whoever thought up the fried potato salad deserves a James Beard award. My god but it was good. Lima beans were very nice (and kudos for even having Lima beans in the menu!) but needed a bit of salt; an easy fix. Terrific space inside an old bank. The only clunk was the service: my order got bollixed up, but staff were quick to correct it as much as they could. It happens. All in all a terrific place. Well done, folks. It wasn’t the healthiest meal ever, but it sure was good!

We have had two fantastic meals here since July. Big table of 8 and a second dinner for two right before closing. Both were remarkably wonderful! Cocktails were thoughtful and delicious. Chicken sandwich and brisket sandwich were outstanding. Prices are very fair. The potato salad should not be missed. Service at the bar and tables were great. We will be back.

Atmosphere is classy kitch. Staff friendly, helpful and hussling. Like the meat and veg options. Beer prices a pleasant surprise. Sadly, grits were not smooth and creamy but undercooked, a disappointment. Fries came out just warm. Zucchini with ricotta a dreamy dish, so good. Portions for the pulled pork plate substantial, BBQ sauce a winner. We will be back.

I really miss the menu of the previous Reunion but I understand that it was not a viable business model out here in the country… We came in to try the BBQ and overall it is good, but not standout. The dishes are hit and miss depending on what’s ordered. I’d recommend the brisket, German potato salad, and corn salad. I’d skip the Mac and cheese and the coleslaw… unfortunately everything on my plate was bland but my partners selections were great. It makes it hard for me to recommend because based on what you order, you could have an incredible experience or a meh one! Also do watch the prices on the receipt, we were overcharged based on the menu price but they were able to correct it for us without too much awkwardness.

My wife and I just moved to town. We came here without a reservation and got lucky to get a table. The food was amazing!! The drinks and service were also top notch!! We felt like we were fine dining because we were! Thank you so much for making our date night a one to remember. We will definitely be back to this amazing little gem in spring green.
