We were very pleased to find this option for our second night in Spring Green as our first meal had been very disappointing. The pizzas were perfect - and plenty large enough for us to keep some for lunch the following day. Staff were friendly and helpful, though they do ask you to clear your table yourself. The only downside was that they had run out of 'Spotted Cow' beer.
Great dining experience, but you do need to bus your own table. Order at the counter & then they bring your food to you. Be sure to try their delicious desserts. You can eat in or out. Wood- fire pizzas were great! Converted old schoolhouse.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in front.

We ordered a gluten free pizza, sausage, mushroom and onions. The crust was soooo undercooked, it was doughy. Nasty! Microwaving it didn’t help but to make the burnt smell stronger. The bottom was burnt black! The sausage tasted old! The toppings were so sparse. We saw MAYBE 6 mushroom pieces. This is the WORST pizza we ever had. First and last try of this place. We’ll never go back. We both ate less than half of our pieces and then threw it away and went to Culver’s.

The place was packed and there was a line out the door and I’m so glad we decided to stay! The place is casual and full of families and locals. Outdoor seating, too. Our sausage pizza was delicious. The salad was loaded with very fresh greens and sweet cucumbers with just the right amount of dressing. Cheese plate was generous and tasty with local cheeses. The pickles were outstanding. If you are heading to APT after dinner, get there before the crowds form - don’t wait till 6 pm and expect a quick turnaround.
Terrific food, great vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Open kitchen layout, order as you enter. The staff bring the food to your table. We had 3 different people stop by our table to check on things and remove plates as we dined. The restaurant had an "Asheville" vibe. For those familiar with the restaurant scene there and enjoy it, you'd love this place.
So delicious. Young owners and staff. Chef so creative. In old one room school house. Owners opening 2nd restaurant soon. A supper club. We had an amazing spinach root salad and homemade cavatelli pasta on a ramp pesto w roasted mushrooms. Simply divine! Local brew. Great wine list. So sorry we missed Sunday brunch! We’ll be back.
A 5-star experience for common people. Great food, nice presentation, served by very courteous people in a very unpretentious building and location at a very fair price.I'll be back soon, but not often enough.
Kid-friendliness: Chances are good you may get to meet the owner's children too.

Homecoming is such a special restaurant! I recently had my wedding rehearsal dinner there, and Kyle went out of his way to make sure the night was perfect. We were able to create a custom dinner menu, complete with their wood-fired pizzas that everyone enjoyed watching being made out back, and the food was beyond delicious. Honestly the best butternut squash ravioli I had ever had, and trust me I have had this dish many-a-time. Besides the amazing food, the drink selection was fantastic and the entire staff were top notch. I wished I lived in Spring Green to eat here all the time : )
New menu every week. Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend stopping in, particularly if you're going to the American Players Theatre nearby (also amazing).

We dined here three times during a Spring Green / APT vacation - twice in the evening and one Sunday brunch. The menu, while limited, covers a wide variety of tastes. Licensed for liquor service, but no bar (unclear if patrons could occupy a table for drinks only). Physically the place looks like something between a hobby restaurant and a pop-up restaurant. Essentially one large room with kitchen equipment (more or less permanently installed), and another large room with tables. Outdoor seating is also available. It's unclear how this place got an occupancy permit (ADA compliance might be marginal), and passed a restaurant inspection. On the latter I observed some questionable situations in the kitchen. Notwithstanding, I saw nothing dire that had me heading for the exit. Order and pay in the kitchen on arrival. Food delivered to table (real china, glass, and flatware). Diners are asked to bus their tables if able. Outdoor wood fired pizza oven produced good product.
Amazing farm-fresh food. Creative use of local ingredients. The homemade shrimp ravioli was amazing, with a light herb butter sauce and tender pea shoot. Just a fun place to dine!
First visit on the evening of a American Players Theatre performance, so the restaurant was very busy. Cool old school house. Very unique/eclectic. Great wine list. Interesting menu. My pork belly was overcooked and a bit dry but flavors were delicious. Chalking up this mishap with overcooking to how busy the restaurant was this particular night. The wood fired pizzas were delicious. Service was very good. Outdoor and indoor seating. Great change of pace. I will go back and spread the word.
Food was very good, but I left hungry.
The white sauce/potato/asparagus pizza is phenomenal!
