Schumacher's Shanty Pizza and Sandwich Pub

Owners are awesome and super friendly! Best pizza in the area, fresh, fresh, fresh ingredients! Hubs got a pizza and I got the buffalo chicken wrap. For bar food, it was not greasy at all and it was so good! Bloodies were delish as well! (And we are picky on bloodies!)

Amazing food great atmosphere

We typically stop in after picking apples at Heritage Orchard. Today we stopped in and the gentleman at the bar helped the 2 parties that came in after us and didnt bring us menus or even acknowledge us. We were the table nearest the bar so not really sure what was going on.

Really enjoyed their pizza this evening. I particularly enjoyed the sauce, not bland or too sweet like some frozen pizzas, flavorful with just the right amount of spice. We also liked the crust. We are a split crust opinion house. One thin, one thick, we found theirs to be a happy medium.

I was going to take a picture but by the time I thought of it there was only an empty box left. Maybe next time because we will be coming back

Outstanding food in a setting that's not so cozy as to be cramped, and not so wide open as to be cavernous. Friendly, attentive bartenders, food service is prompt. Outdoor seating to boot. Solid and simple. Bravo.
