I cannot recommend Little Larke enough - the treats being produced here are what dreams are made of. Every baked good and drink I have tried (which are many) are always excellent.

Do yourself a favor and make the trip!

Had an amazing almond cherry muffin and am excellent lemon poppyseed donut. I’ve never even heard of a lemon poppyseed donut before - and it was a real treat. Great area with a cozy outdoor patio.

This place is a local gem. Everything is delicious, always end up leaving with a box full of goodies. The scones and focaccia have been favorites lately so will always snag those if available. Owner and location are great too, all around worth a drive!

My family has been making special trips to this bakery for three last 5 years after discovering it on a road trip. It's such a little hidden gem. Fair warning though, under the new ownership they DO NOT have the Swedish Donuts anymore. We tried several of their offerings and they were all delicious in their own way, but it didn't hit like the Swedish Donuts we've been making trips for. It's still a great place, just be warned if you are expecting those perfect cinnamon and sugar pillows that they are no longer available.

The Swedish doughnuts are amazing. One of the pastries I’ve ever had. Are they still being made by the new owner?

The last time I had a “proper” Kolache was twelve years ago on a run from Dallas to Austin for a meeting. Low and behold half way through the trip was a bakery with a sign up announcing Kolaches. Without hesitation the car was wheeled in to the parking lot with a dash through the entrance door to a counter loaded with “traditional” open faced kolaches. The bakers dozen of sesame, apricot, and assorted others did not make it from that bakery to Austin. Well, once again, another surprise on a different 35. A friend sent me a link to the Little Larke Barkery Facebook page making heavy emphasis to me the open faced kolaches and they know I am on a constant hunt for a proper one. Well today I made a trip to visit Little Larke to pick up a half a dozen kolaches and, before I could turn back on to the road, launched into one of Leigh’s sweet cheese Kolaches. Okay, so for me, sweet cheese is not traditional and I was skeptical but by bite two, between the sweet cheese and the classical Kolache dough, I was sold to the tune of “reaching for my second”. This second, lemon curd, unexpectedly took me back to the classic fruit kolaches of old with a twist. Kudo’s Leigh of Little Lark, you have hit a home run! A must stop for those hunting for kolaches, birders who are looking for new species, and hardened cafe racers looking for a new spot. 5-star recommend!

Really great variety of breads, good coffee and pastries to die for.

I bought the sourdough bread and chocolate chip cookie - and couldn’t wait the 1.5 hour ride home. The smell was amazing but let me tell you in one word about the flavor: YUMMY!!! The owner/operator was friendly, knowledgeable (the maple oat latte was delicious) and obviously hard working. Great experience.

I called her on the phone about 3:00 p.m. and put my order in... My wife says the pumpkin Bread was scrumptious... I personally don't like anything with pumpkin in it.. The chocolate chip cookies were delish... They remind me of my grandma's chocolate chip bars very good -the cookies are huge.... I have not tried the blueberry scones or the sourdough bread..4.9 out 5.0

We just visited today Sunday July 26, 2022. The baker was just pulling out fresh foccacia bread with balsalmic infused tomatoes and parmesan cheese. I stoped back on the way out of town. I have never had such a great foccacia bread and I used to run a bakery! The bottom was buttery with a decadent crust and the inside was so light and fluffy . The combinations were shear perfection! I got home 45 min later and proceeded to eat half of it! I will be back! If you own this and read this i would love to contact you for further info?
