We went down for a lovely drive and pie. The restaurant was so crowded with people, we chose not to wait. That is how good the food and pies are. We will go back down again and I highly recommend it. Just watch out for road construction between Maiden Rock and Stockholm.
BTW - the Bumbleberry pie is excellent.

Fun little shop. Pie is pricey.
Salmon on rye withe a cream cheese smear and apple Carmel pecan pie. Thought it was a goos stop. Very busy for off season.

Super cute pie place but not sure how this earned a #1 Pie Shop in America title. Ordered the pumpkin pecan, lingonberry lemon and mocha walnut. The pumpkin was the best of the three, but neither of them were amazing, and I've had flakier more buttery pie crusts elsewhere. Good, but I wouldn't visit again.

Fantastic pie in the pie shop (we had the absolute best cherry pie) and the best triple dipped malted milk balls in the general store. This place is on our list of favorite finds.

Very busy place and the workers seem stressed. They have good pie but I have had better. Easiest to get ice cream and then shop the cute gifts.

This is a fun story. I came in and got a slice of peach blueberry pie with ice cream. It came out to just over $10. The price seemed steep at first but it was worth it. The ice cream is great quality. The pie crust was tender and flaky. The filling was the perfect sweetness. The staff was great. I would eat here again if I ever come back through.

Limited GF options and didn't trust ingredient lbl. Couldn't try the pie so can't speak to that. Coffee was just ok. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Try it for yourself and have a wander through the connected shops. There's candies and books and cards and jewelry and wine and cheese and seasons and fun gifts.
Well worth the drive down from the Twin Cities! Great pie and coffee.
Rustic store with counter service and seating. Serving fruit pies, ice cream, salads and sandwiches. A bit pricey, a slice of pie will set you back 6.99. But a tourist favorite.
