We let our girls choose our family dining night. 10/10 they choose El Rio because they are "so kind to us and I'm glad they are open." Every single staff member goes above and beyond to make sure all is well and let's not forget the Cadillac marg 😍. We will keep coming back again and again. Thank you for being here.

Great food and great service. We had the chicken Taco salad and beef chimichanga. Both were fresh and delicious. The frozen strawberry Margarita, and on the rocks lime Margarita we amazing.

Food was hot; service was so-so. My burrito was good, but the beef was salty. The beans could have been put in a soup dish - there was little consistency to them. I asked the manager for more napkins, he promised them, and I only got them from the server after asking for them again. The manager was too busy going from table to table and talking about the night's Packers/Lions game - and telling many how he was a Bears fan. As to outside - the sign was not lit and may not even work. It was hard to find the place. Parking is atrocious as there is only room for maybe a dozen vehicles in the lot. Most people parked on the street because there was no room in the parking lot. As to inside - very nicely decorated. There was a Christmas tree and well decorated. There appeared to be a Santa chair in a corner. There were a lot of stockings and we assumed they were for each employee. Bottom line, and most important was the quality of food and the service. Two for the food and five for the server. The manager, who was quite loud, should just stay behind the scene. Recommended? Only if you like salty food and soupy beans. We'll go elsewhere for our meals out.

Had dinner at the bar on Friday night. Food was delicious, margarita was perfect, atmosphere was comfortable, guacamole was fresh and fabulous, but the high point of the visit goes to Averie the bartender. Not sure I've come across a friendlier more attentive bartender/server in quite a while. She saw to our every request but also anticipated what we would need. The owner of the restaurant is very lucky to have her on their staff. A true professional and delight. 6 stars to Averie !!
Had a great time, everyone was super friendly and the food and service was great. Shout out to Ceasar! He was a hoot! Highly recommend if your in the mood for mexican food!

This was such a delicious lunch! I had the Chile Verde and the portion was insane and it was just so comforting and tasty.
The service was what was really special. Caesar was attentive, warm, and kind. He was so welcoming and always made sure I had everything I needed for a good meal. At one point, he even brought me extra sauce without being asked, just because he thought it would make me enjoy my meal more. It did!
So glad I stopped at this little spot on my commute. I'll be back for sure. Thanks, Caesar!

I do not write reviews very often... but when food is as terrible as this food was i had to share. I was so disappointed and should have ordered My chicken quesadilla from Taco Bell. My husband ordered the burrito. We both threw almost our entire meal away. McDonald's would've been better than eating there. This is by far the worst restaurant meal I have ever been served. I would not waste your money there if you are thinking about eating from there.
