Since new ownership this has been terrible. Tonight was the last straw. We go theGrilled Buffalo chicken and it was flavorless. We also got the Rueben. There was more fat than meat. It was hardly edible. I don’t line in town and got it to go so not much you can do. The onion straws weee good and the fries weee fresh. I guess that’s a plus. The worst part is you can see the cuts of meat you put on a Reuben and know what you’re giving someone. What a waste of money. Last time I go there.

It's a great "dive bar" with food that doesn't match it's "dive" atmosphere. The food is exceptional for the space they have. Great burgers, great chicken strips, great fries and ice cold drinks!

Most BLT’s are good and hit the spot. Their BLT was awesome!! It felt like that home made blt with good portions of bacon. It’s simple, but that’s what is so great about it!

Tailgaters makes the best burgers in stoughton,WI and their fried onions are phenomenal. Honestly we've never had a bad meal. We generally order take out but when we have gone in the staff is always nice and efficient.

Great food but very pricy. Chicken strips and fries for me, my buddy had wings and fries with lemonade and cheese curds. $42. That's a bit pricey.

Food was horrible. Too much salt. French fries tasted like cardboard, wings had no flavor. Atmosphere was nice and service was great, food was a bust.
Visiting from Chicago , camping at Lake Kegonsa. We were searching for a place to have dinner. Saw Tailgaters( bar and grill) on Google and decided to give it a try! The food was absolutely fantastic. The fries are cut and cooked fresh for each order, I highly recommend the Patty Melt and my husband said his burger was the best he has had in years! The cook came around and spoke to the patrons, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about Lakes in the area. There were people of all ages there , eating , playing pool and visiting. We give it 5 stars!!!

Great staff. Nice location. Good drinks and shockingly good food. This isn't your run of the mill bar food. From the shin sliced greasy fries to the perfectly seasoned hamburger patty with the buttery crispy edges. My expectations were low and they delivered something rivaling Culver's.I will be back as often as possible.Parking: If the street is full park off street and go in the back (alley) door.

We went back a second time for apps and drinks. It has a cool dive/sports bar theme with a pool table and darts with other egames. It's local so I want to like this place!!! We chatted and played a few etab games (be aware: ticket cash-out will print behind the bar, so you have to go up there to ask for it-- they won't bring it to you). Place started out slow and picked up speed. Our bartender, who only works a few days a month, was cool and polite. He got a little overwhelmed towards the end, but the place seemed short staffed for a Friday. Positive: Kegger Tators we're delish! Tasted like a sour cream and chive mashed potato with crispy goodness on the outside. Petty melt had a decent rye bread. Improve: Chicken wings were a little dry but at least they're weren't undercooked. Sauces on the side were bottled whatevs, wish they were house made. Wish the fries were crispy and not shoe string. Burger size was small compared to the bread. By the end, we still had to go up several times to get service and the bar wasn't near full.
