Great Fish Fry! We all liked our fish, the housemade coleslaw was perfect and the fries were super yummy!

Awesome location and decent drinks compensated for the not-so-great food. I'd go back though to play some pool.

Great service and great food. I wish they had umbrellas for outdoor seating... the sun glare was brutal.

I got the regular cheese curds and The Bronco with fries. The cheese curds and the ranch dressing were excellent! The bronco was very good. However a spicy ranch or similar would be better than ketchup. The fries were not good soft and flavorless. The service was excellent they were nice and attentive… thanks it was a beautiful night!!

Had a truly excellent time here, every part of the experience is lovely. A terrific view, a great lunch, and superlative service. Highly recommend this lovely little gem on the lake!

Service saved this from one Star. The food was very bland and had zero flavor. The 2 soups they had on thier fish fry buffet were very watery and not enjoyable to me. The decore was very cheap feeling very dated. I was not impressed with anything. The best part of my meal was the Pepsi.

I start this post by admitting I am a very good cook and live in a town with wonderful restaurants that create dishes better than I can do at home. I had high hopes of dining somewhere memorable with my daughter and grandson while visiting. Unfortunately, my experience at Springer's was less than memorable.
We had 3 meals:
One 8 oz tenderloin filet - $27.95
One smoked brisket dinner - $17.95
One kid's meal of mac & cheese and Fries
We also had an iced tea (undrinkable with a terrible after taste), a martini (passable) and a chocolate milk (which the 2 year old grandson enjoyed).
The filet did not look like any filet I have ever cooked or eaten. The brisket was very salty and served with "doctored up" versions of mustard and ketchup - neither of which was edible.
They served "au gratin potatoes" which were chunks of cooked potato with cheese sauce (which looked like melted Velveeta) encasing them. The mashed potatoes were glue-like with gravy that tasted like it was from a jar. The "mac and cheese" was CLEARLY from a blue box (i.e., Kraft).

Still i tipped the waitress 22%, as the poor quality of the food was not her fault.

When the hostess asked me how our meals were (as we paid upon exit), I told her that they were far below my expectations and that we would not be dining there again.

The ultimate insult was calling chunks of potatoes smothered in Velveeta - and including a $1 up charge for a side - au gratin potatoes.

I paid over $83 dollars for a dinner for 2 1/2 that was subpar and served like they do not care about the quality or authenticity of the food.
On a positive note, the bathrooms were clean. The overall decor and cleanliness of the restaurant would not score well on my expectations of cleanliness. Dirty, stained carpet is not anything a diner wants to see.

This is a great, newly furnished supper club. Would have loved to have seen this place in the daylight. Lake front view!

Fish Fry Friday on the lake with live music outside was great! We were at a bar table & they got busy so ended up having to bar to order food/more drinks but no big deal...

We weren’t sure what to expect going in, but came away from our experience a bit disappointed. When we booked our reservation, I called in and the phone was picked up but no one speaking on the other end, just back around noise. After saying “hello? Helloo?” I was greeted by a woman who sounded a bit drunk, I was able to get a table reserved.

When we arrived 5 minutes early, we waited at the host stand where several staff members were chatting (bickering?). After a few minutes, they finally welcomed us and told us to wait to be called. The bar area was also blaring music and very loud, so it was hard to have conversation until we were seated.

Once seated, we ordered. The salad bar was small and depleted, but fine. They were out of one of the two soups, to which they said they would refill (never did, left it empty.) so they ran out of chowder by 7.

Our server was nice, but did not do much beyond taking our order and delivering our food. The food was fine and met my expectations for the price, though if you are expecting supper club quality dinner I would be very particular about which items to order. My prime rib was good, however my partners tenderloin was rather bland.

When we tried to leave, the (drunk?) hostess was touching my mom as we paid the bill to leave, which was inappropriate.

Perhaps we just had mismanaged expectations, but this place seems to try to be both a dive bar (loud music, gaming area, no serving dinner on the patio by the water) and a supper club.

I plan to come back in the next year or two to give it another chance, but if you are a first timer looking for more of the supper club experience than a bar and grill, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

It’s a bar that has bar food. But what we like about it is the beauty outdoors

Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar but they are kid friendly and offer kid menu options.
