We visited Springers this past Friday night for their fish fry, and it was absolutely delicious! The portions were huge—so much food. The beer batter breading on the fish was perfect, and the hash brown casserole is truly delightful (a must-try side!). Beyond the meal, the stunning sunset views over Lake Kegonsa made the evening feel special. To top it all off, the service was top-notch—attentive and friendly even on a busy Friday night. We’ll definitely be back!

We are never disappointed when dinning here for dinner or Saturday for lunch. The Friday night buffet has a large selection of all different fish, meat, sides and special dishes. Their salad bar is not large but has a great selection and is kept fresh. Their clam chowder is the best we think in the area. The Friday night fish selection off the menu is more than the standard cod. Their specials are good too. The night we were there they had a scallop special that was really great. Overall, food is great, being on the lake the view is great, and the staff is friendly.

We went here Friday night because the place we usually go was packed. What a great experience! The food was superb the potato salad and the salad bar was out of this world! The drinks were absolutely delicious. Everything was just excellent. The only negative it was dark and I couldn’t see the lake, completely our fault! I can’t wait to go again.

Very disappointed in the service. The food was acceptable but we were never checked on once and there were maybe 5 parties in the whole place.
Immediately our server was rude and short with us for some unknown reason. She didn’t even bring our food out, so she never even bothered stopping by again. Never got a refill, never asked how our food was. Another employee was yelling at the sports game on the TV while we sat waiting for our bill which never came. I can’t imagine how terrible this place would be when it’s busy.
The lack of service wasn’t even acknowledged. Won’t be back. Save your money and go elsewhere, this establishment is unwelcoming and terrible.
My husband and I were camping at Lake Kegonsa State Park and wanted a Friday Fish Fry. Called to make reservations but they don’t take them on Fridays. We were given the best advice by the gentleman who answered the phone. He said arrive about 4:30 and put your name on the list, boy was he right, it got busy. The waitstaff was great and polite, as was the bartender. One of the best fish fries we’ve had. Will definitely be back now that we found this gem.

It’s quite offputting to discuss the attractiveness of your customers. Within the first 5 minutes, my sister was told that she was “attractive enough” to use the door that customers weren’t supposed to use. It’s weird & unnecessary to discuss the looks of customers, especially young women. I would advise against doing so in the future to maintain a comfortable experience for patrons.
