A hidden wonder everyone should try. An excellent place to for good food, drinks and great service. I was there twice this week and plan to go back soon.

Great setting along the Yahara River as it runs through Stoughton... they did a great remodel last year and we only stopped for the first time, had a beer and calamari, which was excellent.

Dined here tonight and it was a great experience. Service was outstanding. We had Amy K. She explained everything and worked to accommodate one of our party who has dietary restrictions. Food was really good. The Rhode Island style calamari was great. I think this is the best restaurant in Stoughton and highly recommend it.

Ordered a whiskey on the rocks with dinner Upon receiving the bill I noticed a charge of 2.00 for ice After inquiring about charge I was told by our bartender it was for the extra step in pouring an 11.00/ per ounce drink on ice I asked the same to the manager before I left and was told that it makes up for the lack of margins in other services they provide Both answers were poor at best I left assuming that: 1)Ice water is free in this establishment so next time I’ll order that and scoop the ice out and place in my drink 2)Because I can afford an 11.00 per ounce whiskey the assumption is made I should pay 2.00 for ice cubes to help offset the bills /dinners of other patrons? Sounds like socialism to me. 3)Possibly this s is an anti “Ice” campaign?

Love the old school supper club decor. Great service and big portions. Shrimp cocktail some of the best I’ve had. Comparable to The Del Bar in Lake Delton. It is an open dining area so it was a bit loud to try and have a conversation across the table.

Phenomenal. Literally, this rivals Ishnala in my book. Maybe it’s not on a lake, but everything else? Completely on par, in my opinion.
I walked in to a cozy atmosphere, very upscale supper club vibes. Everyone walking out had at least one box and I found out why - the portions are massive.
My husband had the ribeye, you could’ve cut it with a fork, I swear. I had the shrimp. Initially I was skeptical, but they were huge prawns, perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned.
DELICIOUS! You can’t miss this place. Mary is a sweetheart and will take great care of you!

After the new remodel, the atmosphere now reminds me of a version of a small retro supper club. Everything was great. I had a margarita, the steak sandwich and fries. All was delicious. Enough to eat and still plenty to take some home. Our bartender was phenomenal but I didn't catch her name.

Water Street Tavern has a supper club feel - vintage decor and dimmer lighting. The service was top notch. Our food was GREAT. The steak was seasoned so well, I did not need the bleu cheese topping. I didn't know I would love brussels sprout, but here we are! Try the relish tray!
