The food was amazing. Cheese curds are delicious. I have the risotto and hubby had the Reuben and had plenty to take home. Service was amazing. Attentive yet not intrusive and genuinely friendly
Cool place with a little bit of a narrow unique and more sandwich/burger type menu. Cocktails were creative and although a little too sweet for me, I had the Beast Modeno. Get this, cherry Bourbon, lemonade, Chambois (I think it is a type of Beer) and Balsamic Vinegar. It was so good.
Service was a tad slow, but friendly and likely not normal. Overall, a cool unique menu you should checkout.

I generally love Wendigo food, but some dishes are just too salty. I'm not sure why restaurants feel the need to use so much salt (so we drink more alcohol?). If we all ate less salt, we'd be healthier and live longer and be able to keep going to restaurants. Win-win!
Parking: I'm not a Stoughton native, so I don't know a lot about parking options, but I've never had trouble finding a street spot within a couple of blocks.

This is a review for Wendigo catering. (We can't find a great place to review the catering side, and other places seem to reference the old name for the catering business, Indulchi).
Wendigo Catering was a great choice for catering our wedding. We appreciated the opportunity to do a complimentary tasting at the restaurant before making a commitment, and we really enjoyed being able to give so much input into the menu. The food was great and leaned into seasonal ingredients, which we really enjoyed. We also wanted a great vegetarian option, and they came through on that– we had family members who would not have considered a vegetarian meal in most situations saying the polenta dish was very good. We were looking for something a little different than a conventional wedding meal, and their menu was exactly what we were looking for. The prices were very reasonable compared to other options, and the team did a great job on the day of the wedding and everything went smoothly. The only drawback was that there were a few times leading up to the wedding where it took a while to get responses or information so the communication was slow, but that doesn’t change that we would very much recommend hiring them for a wedding.

Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Stoughton. The menu is creative and we’ve enjoyed our meals each time we’ve eaten at Wendigo. The cheese curds are delicious, the Kale Caesar changed my life and thoughts on Kale in a salad. The egg in the salad isn’t something I would initially lean towards, it now I can’t go back - it’s so good! The chicken tenders and French Dip were delicious and each of the meals we have tried have been top notch. The simple yet funny worded menu is always a plus when choosing what to eat. I also greatly enjoy their beer selection and Apple Old Fashioned. Can’t wait to try more food and drinks from their menu during our next visit.

Scary cat pictures. Creative menu offerings.
Catfish should be chunky not flattened - couldn't find or taste the fish. Grits-squash and ginger green beans are great.
Stew could also be chunked meats - seemed more like a chili.
Drinks and infused alcohol offerings were fun/tasty.

I was befuddled by Wendigo. We ordered the corn chowder. It was on the menu under "friends" which I thought meant it was for sharing. The chowder came in a soup bowl but no spoons were provided, and we were left attempting to eat it with forks. Eventually we ordered a side of bread to dip in the chowder which made things a little better. I also ordered the BBBLT which was listed as having "baby bella bacon." When the sandwich came there was no bacon, just mushrooms. I asked the waitress and she indicated that the intention was for the dish to be a vegetarian BLT. That's all fine, but I encourage Wendigo to remove the word "bacon" or clearly indicate it's a vegetarian sandwich. I will note that they took the BBBLT of the bill without me asking, which was very nice. All in all, a very weird experience.

Best place in Stoughton for the last 5 years at least. Please reply to this if there are any others even in the running
I moved to Stoughton a little over a year ago from Madison and absolutely love this place! It has AMAZING food options and AMAZING cocktails.
Also, love that the menu has many tasty vegetarian options as well!

Place is great. Great artisanal drink and food menu. Chefs hand was very heavy on the salt which ruined my plate but my experience shouldn’t hold you back. Enjoy the great quality ingredients Wendigo has to offer.
