Nice place for a casual meal. Excellent service and very good food. Everything was served hot and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was sweet, attentive and knew the menu well.

Haven't been since they opened. The food was alright. Not bad, but nothing to rave about either. But for the soda, they give you one free refill. After that they charge you for another soda. I normally like to have one refill. And my wife usually has two refills when where out to eat. And for something that's so cheap, I dont understand the mark up. Maybe ask for soda with no ice, and then after they bring it ask for a cup of ice 🤣

Got done with Marshfield and I was hangry! Looked at the wife and said let's find a little Cafe somewhere out of the big city, and boy did we strike gold with this one! I had sourdough chicken strip and bacon, tomato and a big ol slab of melted cheese and fries were hot and tasty,I’ve had similar sandwiches else that where not something to write home about. This was a grand slam bottom of the 9th game winner. Pretty sure I'll be bè back someday (2 hrs and 45min drive) one way

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Wednesday. There was only one other customer in the restaurant so I was a little concerned that it might be an indication of food quality. I was wrong. We had just come from Marshfield Clinic Hospital, where I had day surgery. I had not eaten in about 20 hours. I picked the Alaska pancakes and my wife picked a corn beef/sauerkraut/burger sandwich (forgot the name of it). She said it was a little different because of the addition of a hamburger in the sandwich. I suspect that this restaurant attracts big eaters. We had plenty of food at a very reasonable price. The man who waited on us was very polite and attentive. We now have a new restaurant on our list of favorites! We live in Wausau and I would rank this restaurant right up there with some of the better, pricier ones in Wausau.

Great service. The server was able to recommend a few dishes for my 88 year old aunt that interested her. Her memory doesn't always allow her to pick and choose anymore and I don't see her often enough to know her likes and dislikes. Soup was hot and full of flavor. Fast service. Bog standard adequate diner atmosphere.
