Ordered thanksgiving dinners to go. We had turkey and prime rib. Excellent , would definitely recommend Large servings with pie and cider. Will have again
Wonderful place to bring a family for a day of fun activities. And great food.
I purchased 4 small apple pies. They were very dry and barely had apples in them the filling was terrible. I will not buy again.
Pie and jerky. All the food there is excellent. Walked into an aroma of apple pie floating through the store. Good stuff. Good vibes.
The price for the smallest apple picking bag is $24. They give you a wrist band and a receipt. Don’t lose the receipt because you need it to leave the apple orchard. I guess having the wristbands isn’t enough indication. They have a “train” that takes you around to the apple picking spots. Now I get that apples fall from the tree, the elements and animals play a factor, but the amount of apples that were on the ground was crazy. To me there were more on the ground than the actual tree. But the experience was really fun. We went to check out the food and drinks. The apple cider was delicious. But $9 for a hotdog is a hard pass. The prices for the food and drinking in general were high. Yeah, everything has gone up in price but that doesn’t mean you have to nickle and dime either. They have cute photo opportunities for the family or even for those who are on a date. Plenty of kid activities as well.
Pink lady's still on the tree late NOV25
Sure, its more active in Sept and Oct, but if you missed the season like us, you can still check the box and have some fun!
The restaurant is pretty good too, friendly and fresh food! Been coming here for years, prob the best apple picking around.
I've been taking my children here year after year for the past 20 years. This year I was an empty nester, with CPTSD and a licensed, trained, insured and secured service animal wearing his tags. This place is very crowded and had very little accessibility for anyone with a small disability requiring any amount of equipment. I am referring to the inside of the shops. The small spaces alone are enough to send a normal person's anxiety off. I ordered the seasons special drink. It was messy and near 20$. I was kicked out with my emotional support animal in the cold to enjoy this cold drink. It dripped all the way outside. I threw it out after 3 bites over a garbage can. I proceeded to go back inside to wash my hands as the same person who kicked me out followed me to the bathroom and proceeded to ask me why I needed so much paper towel.
Unfortunately I will not be returning to Apple Hollar. Such a great childhood memory I must have outgrown.
I really like this place but the new restaurant is ridiculous! They make you find a table look at the menu, then walk to the counter to order and pay to go back and sit at your table to wait for someone to bring you your food. You have employees walking around, just take my order at the table.
Cute place, but absolutely greedy. Charged full price for my 1 year old to enter at 2p, but still kicked us out 30 minutes before the posted closing time.
Speciality drink was messy and ended up having to drink the damn thing outside, after staff member (a total Karen) told my wife she couldn't have her service dog in their building. Did ride the wooden horse outside though...whoopee.

So much to do for the family. A big variety of apples to pick from. And the dutch apple pie is excellent.
Such a lovely place to go apple picking! Even though the parking lots were full, the place is so big that it didn’t feel crowded. We got through the line quickly and had a great time wandering through the beautiful orchard picking apples. They have so many unique varieties - it’s a great way to try different types of apples! They also have peaches in the summer, so we definitely will have to go earlier in the year. It was nice being able to hop on the trolley and ride back to the front after we were done picking. Overall a really nice farm with quality apples, good food, and nice folks.
Great place for family gatherings.
My son and I had lunch and dessert. Yummy
Great place for a family apple picking adventure!
