Iron Skillet Restaurant

Went for the all you can eat buffet. We really like the salad bar. Next I had BBQ ribs which were really good. Pork shoulder was also very good. I didn't have room to try the chicken-they had fryed and BBQ. We got here just before the end of the buffet so by the time we were ready for dessert there was only banana cake.

This place is solid. The food is good and large portions. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is nothing fancy, but it is good. Wish they had gluten free options for toast and pancakes, though.

Ive heard good reviews of this place but our experience leaves much to be desired. We ordered a burger, chicken tenders and a corned beef hash skillet and it took forever! The waitress serving us, ended her shift and left, one who took over was more attentive and brought us our food and checked in frequently, but even her good service couldn't save this review. The food was overpriced for the portions given, the eggs with hash tasted dry or reheated. The overall appearance of the place was dated, the booths had wear and tear, taped seats, just cant recommend this place from what i seen and tasted!

Ordered 6 different meals all of them were delicious. Excellent service as well

This used to be my go to stop.. Over the past 7-8 yrs it has gotten worse and worse. The food and wait staff was awesome,Buttttt when they hired the general manager and gave him free rein, The good waitresses left and so did the quality of this place

Decent food for a truck stop, good salad bar. Coffee strong enough to dissolve a spoon.

This restaurant is attached to the highest rated Truck Stop in the Midwest and in the top 10 in the Country. It has a very busy and loyal following. I've eaten there for many years and have always enjoyed my meals. I go here intentionally. Not just when I'm gassing up and passing by.

Great breakfast buffet , we usually meet family as a neutral meeting place for we are spread between Milwaukee , Racine and Illinois!

Only shows fox news on tv. Anything else would be acceptable. The waitress said the owner only wants it on fox. Figures the rich want to spread their propaganda. The service was great.

Very neat and welcoming spot. They serve big meals and for affordable rates. We liked the meals very much and the staff members were very welcoming and chatty. Will definitely recommend this place.

We stopped here twice traveling, I am very funny about my food, this food is the best I ever had on the road! I highly recommend.

Slow service, cold food. Not the best visit we've had. Waitress we finally did get was great.

What's there not to say.. Food is Delicious! Customer Service is Wonderful!! Prices are very reasonable!!

I stopped for dinner only to find there was no buffet. Seems that TA and Petro really don't care much for the driver community. I actually left, went out to my truck and had soup and sandwich for dinner. It's getting very difficult to find a place where you can get a sit down meal at a reasonable price. Perhaps they should just close up their restaurants and open up Denny's.

They give you cold mash potatoes with hot gravy , everything else is good!
