Chives has good food with a upscale feel. The bar had excellent drink options. We had the ribeye and the chicken marsala and both were good but the dessert was excellent. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Chives.

Excellent food and service. Don't be in a hurry if you're in a larger group, as our lunch service took almost two hours total for a party of seven.
Hard surfaces everywhere, so expect a fair amount of noise.
Lunch prices are great! Dinner prices are definitely on the higher side for Wisconsin.
Bottom line: great place to eat for lunch as long as you don't mind a louder dining experience and have the time.
Had a great time here. We enjoyed almost all dishes here. I absolutely love the fried Brie, it was so light, and perfect with the blackberry sauce. I had the truffle baked cod, fish was cooked perfectly however we didn’t really taste the truffle, so it was a bit bland. The steak and gochujang potatoes were to die for! We also had creme brûlée and it’s one of the best I’ve had. We will be going back to try other dishes!

Chives catered for a wedding I coordinated for. I cannot say enough about how amazing the food tasted, the staffing was incredibly helpful, and they ensured every single guest at the wedding was well taken care of. I simply hope I have the pleasure. Of working with them again.

We had a spectacular dinner, I had the 8oz filet and my wife had the halibut. We ordered the crab cakes and wontons for appetizers, which were fantastic. Both of of our meals were plated beautifully and were seasoned perfectly (no additions needed!) On minor note would be that when it gets busy the back dining room can get a little loud (due to the age and design of the historic building) but nothing that detracted from the experience.

Try it seems to be a very nice restaurant certainly has a wonderful atmosphere that is for sure as you can see in some of the images here.
I would like to say our service was spot on and everything is just really good.
I just have to say the ultimate BLT that I got was a little subpar because of the bacon was old and crunchy and the bread was just way too thick.
I'm sure it is exact as they wanted but it's just not the way that I would have done it.
Definitely worth checking out they'll take good care of you.

Chives provided the drink catering at our wedding in vickery village and did an incredible job! They were fast so people weren’t waiting for drinks and very personable with guests! The drinks were delicious and Katie was very organized with planning ahead of the wedding!
