Had the walleye for my birthday, and it was fantastic. So good, you gotta try it. You'll be hooked! ?

Pizza had excellent crust and flavor. Worth a few extra minutes for the thick, Detroit-style to get done. Curds and onion rings were nicely breaded not not too thick. Great up-north lodge right on the lake.

I was part of a group of six that walked in for some dinner and drinks at 8:15 on a Saturday evening.

We were informed we'd either have to sit at the bar (three stools open), or place our own orders at the bar if we chose to sit at a table. The bartender was the only "front of the house" employee, and was more interested in a group playing the local popular dice game.

Our food came out in paper baskets, rather than plates, and we had to ask for silverware

I would have given zero stars, if I could.

Had the new thin crust pizza. Excellent Chicago style crisp crust with great toppings. Ordered ours well done. Like the cheese brown. Perfectly done.

Favorite go-to restaurant! Now that we are retiring up here, you will see us a lot more! Excited to try your thin crust pizza too!

Great northwoods spot. New owners are heavily invested in the experience.

Horrible overall experience. It was not busy, probably 20% of the outside tables were occupied, no one was inside, yet it took over an hour to get our food. It came out in increments over 15 minutes. Our order included my order of Italian beef with $1 pepper add on and $2 tater tots add on. The pic shows what I got. It was all room temperature.

Go there for drinks and atmosphere, but do not get meals. Horrible food and service.

We go here every time we're at the lake house. Food is typically bar food, which we like. Decent selection of local beers.

Busy weeknight evening in early August - we were willing to wait, understanding and patient with the poor service and dirty tables as they are new and figuring things out, but the pizza we loved in the past was awful. Overcooked, ingredients not fresh - both of us had bad stomach issues during the night. We may try again, but it will be a long time....

I feel really bad for the owner. He seems to need to gain experience in hospitality and running a business. We walked in with a party of 10 (with kids) and ahead of us was a party of 10. So, we expected some delays but never did I expect what we got out of it. We ordered our first round of drinks with the waitress and the rest we had to go to the bar ourselves. Then we ordered our food, and they didn't have what was on the menu, so we had to deviate. Then, after the order was in, we were told once again what we ordered wasn't available, so we had to change our order again. Part of our table received their order. Mostly fish tacos. The tacos were sad with a fish stick-sized piece of fish on the taco. Some meals arrived without fries. Then we were told our pizza was given to another table, so it would be a longer wait for them to remake it. At this point, we asked for a manager to find out what was happening. The manager came over, and we found out it was the owner. I was shocked by his response to our concerns. We didn't have one issue. We had many, and when the head of our table was firm by saying the service was awful, the owner said, "I'm not dealing with this attitude" and tried to walk away. I had to stop him and say wait, you are the owner. You should want to listen to our feedback. We are paying customers and no one is being rude here. We are telling you we aren't getting what we are paying for, and it's been 2 hours since we ordered, and we can't get our food. The tables around us, including those who came after us, were well gone. That's a problem. He did calm down and started to understand our concerns. He did comp the plate and pizza that took 2 hours to get. But I wouldn't recommend going here until the owner can understand how to run a business and treat his customers. It was disappointing on all levels I hope to see it improve. Our waitress, Danelle, was super sweet and tried the best she could, but she would thrive with better leadership. ** Update to the owner - your response is disappointing. The man in the corner was far from disruptive. He made one comment about the poor service and his wife even yelled at him for the comment which I felt nor did your server feel was offensive. He was embarrassed that he took us there and the dinning experience was poor. Your response to put the blame on upset man in the corner proves my point. I hope you can truly take this as a learning experience and wish you the best of luck in your journey as a new owner.

Service was lacking, didn’t seem like the server cared about our experience and it was reflected in the tip. the food was delivered by a different person and it took close to an hour to receive our food we where the only ones there besides a couple of people at the bar. Service and efficiency need to be improved!

Menu was different than menu online. Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Different vibe. More like a cafeteria style experience. I’m sure if you’re a local it may be the place to go by boat but a one and done for us.

Onion rings and cheese curds were awesome. Wait staff was awesome. I ordered broiled walleye and my wife fried. Way over seasoned/very salty. So salty neither of us ate half our meals. Potato pancakes were downright inedible.
