Excellent food and wonderful service! Definitely worth your time to visit

Stopped by after a twelve hour trip for an old fashioned and fish fry. Did not disappoint.

Wraps and waffle fries excellent. Staff friendly. Restaurant listed as handicap accessible but it is not as there is no ramp and only a set of steep stairs. So beware this place is not for you if you are mobility challenged.

Service sucked to say the least. The new owners were cold and uninviting. I even got a few hard looks. Never felt so uncomfortable up here in the Northwoods and I’ve been coming up for 40+ yrs. NOTHING compared to Shankeys. Miss the good old days. I visited a few yrs ago now and haven't been back. Zero interest whatsoever and will not recommend.

The staff was very friendly. The reuben was good, but the crispy chicken had a slight fishy taste like the oil hadn't been changed recently.

The owners were there and didn't help at all. The food was not anything like it used to be, burgers were terrible. Service awful. We have been going here for 15 years and live in Eagle River and will NEVER go back. You lost great customers

We have wondered about this place for years, and the Northwoods Trader has had it featured a few times, so we stopped in this Friday to check it out. Fish fry was fine, along with the traditional sides for $15. Bar area is fine. Small dining room needs some atmosphere badly. Boring valances in the windows needed ironing. Our waitress was great, but she is only there one day /week. Women's room is tiny, but that isn't unusual up here ..however, it is bad for those with disabilities. New owners seemed unfriendly, and unengaging with patrons...with the thin crowd, they could have made the rounds to welcome everyone! We may possibly try it again, sometime, as the slow winter gives them time to improve their business.

Right on the trail system in Three Lakes. A must stio. Sportsmens service center is across the parking lot. Snowmobile, UTV ATV Parts .
All in all 2 great places in same spot
