The food is pretty good for pub fare. Moderate selection of drafts good selection of bottles/cans. Service is normally pretty good and has a cozy pub atmosphere. Breakfast is really good and food is always out

Ordered fish fry said it will be a 45 minute wait ..came back in 45 min said ran out of fried fish reorder the walleye waited another 45 minutes French fries were yes,half cooked and the veggie medley was still partially frozen .Manager copped a attitude the server aWas honest and said he knew the food was under cooked. Still made us pay for the entire meal offered a free beer.WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Stopped in during an out of town visit. Enjoyed a burger and the house made chips. I wish the server would have mentioned the Friday fish deals they had that night, we noticed them on a chalkboard after we ordered. Good atmosphere, good food and friendly staff otherwise! Would stop in again.

I'm giving 3 stars because the staff member on the phone taking the to go order was very friendly otherwise I would give a lower rating. The homemade chips were horrendous, they were so undercooked and soggy. The burgers were dry and bland because they didn't include any condiments. Overall meh for the food. Not a good experience.

I would give zero stars on food and service if I could. First of all, we couldn’t order food at the bar, had to wait 5 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. We ordered the BOM, which was a Mac & cheese burger. We got it after the people at the bar that they did allow to order at the bar got their food (they ordered after us). Luckily I cut the burger in half first because the middle was raw (yes, raw). The Mac and cheese was Kraft Mac & cheese…I have ever only had Mac & cheese burgers with homemade Mac & cheese). We were running late and our waitress was nowhere to be seen, so we ate a few bites of the burger from the edges (which were overdone). When she finally came back and I mentioned the raw burger, her response was “we cook all our burgers medium, it says so in our menu”. I didn’t look at the menu and ordered the special written on the chalkboard. (I don’t know any other restaurant that serves burgers anything other than well or medium well…why would I think anywhere would serve medium). The burger was not medium…it was RAW!! She didn’t care. Still gave me my bill for the full amount. They were not busy, so that wasn’t even an excuse. The only good thing about the place is that it was clean. Won’t go back!!

Went to The Break Room twice for lunch and drinks. Had my 2nd and 3rd helping of Drekker's brews, The Friendly Prrrt and Chonk, both were phenomenal! The entree for lunch was a southwest burger served on toasted bread as opposed to buns, which was a nice change and also unexpected. Sweet potato fries were on the side and they couldn't have been made any better. Some people like their fries crunchy, not me, soft is key when it comes to sweet potato fries. I'll definitely be back here in the future!
